The Nuremberg party rallies are a magnificent spectacle of the ever-growing leadership cult. The Summer Olympics in 1936 show Hitler's popularity internationally.

In Benito Mussolini, Hitler finds an ally to whom he remains faithful until his downfall. Hitler and Goebbels begin a pogrom night against the Jews; Hitler sets up a secret life in Obersalzberg and conceals his mistress Eva Braun from the public eye.

Telling this story through just primary sources is really incredible -- such a unique and brilliant documentary -- must have taken a lot of work putting this together
Back when the history channel was actually about HISTORY, I was hooked. My ex could always tell when I was watching anything about Nazis, he’d warn the kids that’s why Mom was swearing at the television. I’d never given a thought to Hitlers wealth before. Well done.

Prayers and positive energy still going up for survivors and their families, grandchildren, great grandchildren etc!! France specifically always had a HUGE army, a very large number of troops which would have been extremely helpful to the Reich armies in the field in the East. Think Stalingrad would have been the heart wrenching disaster it was if Britain and France were allied to Germany? No way! Britains industrial capacity would be working at full total war capacity without any bombing damage because the British isles were too far away out of range for the Soviets to reach. Oh it can almost make a man weep what might have been, a great long lasting peaceful Union between Germany, France & Britain after the destruction of Communism. A Paradise.
