The Knee to Knob drill is on of the best ways to improve your rhythm and timing of your leg kick so you can consistently hit with more POWER!
This movement challenge for hitters that helps you maximize upper and lower body strength to time the incoming pitch perfectly. When performing the drill, you want to make sure their movement is fluid throughout the swing.
Some key teaching points for hitting challenges like this:
1) Exaggerates the natural movements that happens during a swing.
2) Allows you to learn what an efficient swing looks like.
3) Explores movement patterns you may want to incorporate to your swing.
4) Each pitcher is different so trying these challenges will help you adapt mid game.
