and when doom says the power of the gods is beneath him, he wasn't kidding. the power cosmic is even greater than many of the gods of marvel, including thor. not to mention, doom was literally god and had an entire legion of thors at his command.

And while Non-Canonical he not only shrugged off the Omega Effect from Darkseid, he pretty much handed the Dark Gods ass to him on a silver platter. Galactus is inarguably one of the strongest characters in Marvel, and he isn’t even the worst threat half the time.

- People say Batman can beat anyone with prep. Well Doom's basically that x50 with the additional resources of magic and his own country - Galactus is one of Marvels strongest characters. The guy eats planets

Valeria will probably surpass him when she gets older but Comics have a way of keeping characters at the same age do we'll likely never see that.

No, Doom's rival isn't Mr. Fantastic, it's the entire Fantastic Four. So that's two scientists that are Bruce Wayne levels of smart AND have super powers, a guy made of rocks that's comparable to some of the strongest characters in Marvel, and a dude who can fly and can generate heat comparable to a star. Seriously, Mr. Fantastic alone is incredibly dangerous. Case in point, there's an evil version of him that came from another reality that has threatened the entire world. Edit: Technically EVERYONE in Marvel is weak to squirrels. Because there's a gag character in Marvel known as Squirrel Girl who's only notable superpower is controlling squirrels, and her gag is that she frequently defeats IMPOSSIBLY overpowered enemies off panel, as in off the comic book panel, which is the comic book equivalent of off-screen. Like the time she took out Thanos by herself, and we have no idea how.

One of the craziest things related to Doom is that Luke Cage. A guy with near invulnerability and super strength. Was so pissed Doom didn't pay him a couple hundred dollars for an odd job, that he walked into Doom's equivalent of the Whitehouse and promptly beat Doom's ass so hard that he cracked his mask and made Doom give in and give Luke the money he owed him.

Doom is absolutely insane. If you tell me he's done literally anything, I'd honestly believe you. I love him.

A multidimensional god killer turned his heart to stone, turned his blood into acid, then threw him threw a portal through time into the Pliocene Age where he tossed him into the ocean to get eaten by a Megalodon. Doom proceeded to survive off of pure hatred, spent millions of years learning magic and then killed that person after disguising himself as his apprentice. NONE OF WHAT I HAVE JUST TOLD YOU HAS BEEN MADE UP, THIS IS ALL IN THE COMICS!

Classic Doom made it back in like 15 minutes, without even understanding what had happened to him.

Personally, I think Doom is one of those characters that's so stupidly powerful that he shouldn't be DB. When you get to his power level, it's difficult to find opponents that are a fair fight. It usually ends up with one stomping the other, which is especially true for Doom, with all his hax abilities and tech.

@@gageunruh3574 Well, given the fact that Doom could steal the power and thus defeat the Beyonder, who's pretty similar to Zeno, I think it'd be fair to assume that he could. Most likely by using his siphon to steal Goku's god ki, or perhaps by invoking some sort of spell Goku would be unable to counter, like body swapping.

i'm pretty sure if it weren't for the unwritten rule of "good guys need to win", Doctor Doom would be unstoppable.

If you want to know how evil Doom is, look at 9:55. That armor he's wearing while talking to Richards is his Mystical Armor, which is partly made of leather. How did he get it? By making a pact with some demons to enhance his magic. The cost was that he murdered the only woman he ever truly loved... and then used said magic to turn her skin into THE LEATHER THAT COMPOSES SAID ARMOR. The dude is completely fucked up.

Dr. Doom: I am more intelligent than even omnipotent gods and can, and will, rule the world. Also Dr. Doom: FOOTFOOTFOOTFOOTFOOTFOOTFOOTFOOTFOOTFOOT

Squirrel Girl is no joke. She is arguably the most broken Heroine of all time. She 1v1 Thanos fully powered and won. She beat the shit out of Ego, the living planet.

Do not underestimate the power of Squirrels. Squirrel Girl is the most powerful Character in all of Marvel comics.

All you really need to know about Galactis is that he used all the infinity stones as a feeder for himself. That's all he needed them for.

I forgot this one, definitely another of my favorites, especially the last quote. I'm also happy that, though they didn't have it in the analysis this time, they included Lex's Parasite beatdown posture from the end bit of his previous match. And Geese hasn't been in a Death Battle yet, he just came up before since he's just the arch enemy of your favorite Jojo character.

Listening to the fandom react to this episode was insanely annoying, as everyone kept gassing up Doom and treating it as a stomp, which is just straight up untrue. Like the episode says, Lex was a good bit faster than Doom, and possibly even stronger, and since Doom's shields are weak to phasing, Lex could've very well taken the win, if not for the bodyswap or that siphon, which is rightfully overpowered as hell. Without those Doom probably wouldn't have won.

Galactus many people mention what he can do. But I don’t think nobody mentioned one his most dangerous devices. The Ultimate Nullifier. It’s really interesting because many people think of it as a weapon of destruction. But then Peter Parker then asked “Would it not then be called the Ultimate Annihilator?”. The Ultimate Nullifier requires a strong enough mind to use and if not, you will be “erased” (by violation of the law of conservation of mass). It is capable of wiping out timelines and multiverses should the wielder have a very strong mindset.

Just remember: Both of these guys are, at best, among the top 5 smartest humans in their respective metaverses. Luthor being the #1 smartest in DC (*w/ Batman being 2nd*) and Doom being #2/#3 (*due to him and Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic constantly outdoing each other*).

Part of Lex's charm is that while Superman can beat him up, he manages to avoid fighting in directly. In the animated series while Lex was always up to something shady if he wasn't the victim for once, Superman couldn't just through him in jail. He was always able to avoid getting connected to anything. You could give Young Justice a try if you wanted to know more about DC characters. They have a rotating cast of characters and we get to know more heroes and villains. Some I had known about from the early 2000's series, some I hadn't. I would love to see your reactions to it and I'm sure your viewers will help fill you in on the gaps.

Yeah, when you learn about Doctor Doom. You learn about the biggest menace in all of the Marvel universe.

It is weird that multiple all knowing entities have said that Doom taking over the world is crucial to humanity's survival

A fun fact between Luke Cage and Dr. Doom. Dr. Doom once hired Luke Cage for a mission and when it came time for Luke to get his pay Dr. Doom skipped town and flew back to his home in Latveria. So what does Luke Cage do? He borrows the Fantastic Four's jet and travels to Latveria and breaks into Doom's castle and demands the *$200* Doom skipped out on. Dr. Doom is surprised and Luke Cage kicks Dr. Doom's ass over $200.

Heihachi is from tekken and geese is from king of fighters, and you have reacted to death battles with characters from both franchises so you should be fine to watch the next one

Many people treats this as a stomp, but it really isn’t. Lex is faster & stronger, but the reason why Doom won wasn’t because of his stat, but instead his haxes.

I mean it still was a stomp because all of those haxes Doom has are broken as fuck so it was really clear he could have ended the fight easily in many ways to take the win. Hell he wouldn't even need to fight himself, he could just use a Doombot the whole fight to battle Lex

richard is littrly so smart that diffrent versions of him in the multiverse gatherd the infinity stones multiple times and doom is fighting the entire fantastic 4 not just richard

I honestly think Luthor could do better in his matches but considering most of his time is spent going up against Superman and thus employing Kryptonite based weapons most of the time which would only be effective on Superman everyone assumes he'd lose cause we never really see him face any real challenges outside of the Man of Steel.

Geese hasn't been in a fight before but characters associated with him have. It became enough of a running joke that it's why we have the mecha goose.

This battle is PROOF that Doom is a BUTTON SPAMMER.

Also with your Superman vs Broly comment. It would just go the same way as Superman vs Goku.

In case you were curious, when Doom was doing footdive in the death battle that's a reference to Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Its a capcom fighting game in which he's a top tier character and foot dive is a constantly spammed move.

You should react to some videos by The Imaginary Axis. One of my favourites is his How Powerful is Galactus video, which should explain why Doctor Doom being able to absorb his power is so crazy.

hey Kyle, just to give you an inkling on how powerful Galactus, the world eater is, he was once famished, or starving if you will, and he fought on par with the Fantastic 4. and sometimes they had help from his herald, Silver Surfer. also, he's the, literally, biggest threat to the marvel universe. i don't think even Thanos comes close to being the biggest threat to Marvel than Galactus. also, he eats planets. alot. also, just last year or so, NASA discovered a gas cloud that had a heartbeat. yes. i'm not kidding.

Dr. Doom is awesome. I will pick him in any and all Deathbattles. There is only one character I would put above him overall. Squirrel Girl, the most powerful being in Marvel.

Such strange characters get double losses in this series. Batman, Hulk, Lex Luthor, Goku,and not that I disagree with ANY of them but when you look at it, it just feels wrong because they really are broken. But throwing broken fighters against broken fighters is what they do. Ugh, I still feel like Green Lantern winning that fight was justified. Don’t hate. I’ve heard the arguments. Doctor Doom is just amazing. When I watched Iron Man Armored Adventures they SPECIFICALLY made Iron Man most helpless against him. Which I think of every time I see Doctor Doom. Just the guy Tony stood NO chance against. Man I missed your MHA response to my list! I was REALLY hoping to see what you thought on that.

Nothing wrong with Gokus losing.

So during the Secret Wars comic arc (I think), Doom claims his moniker God Emperor Doom. And he has the power to back it up. He tangos with Black Panther who is wielding the Infinity Gauntlet and Doom comes out on top. Of course with power like this, you have to get rid of or else there is stagnation in the story. And Mr Fantastic is able to steal the godly power away from Doom.

18:41 exactly what I was wondering literally minutes earlier during the powers analysis. I am still trying to think who the strongest Dragonball fighter really is (that actually has feats), especially since I haven't caught up with anything after the Dragonball Super anime left off. (At the moment of those we've seen fight enough I think it's between Broly, Vegito, Gogeta, and Beerus) So yeah, Dragonball Super is insane, it has a complete several Tiers of high powered characters which we haven't really seen do much yet. (Largely because their job is generally to not interfere unless absolutely necessary.)

About Doom having pieces of Jesus´s cross its simple his country is neighbours with Transilvania wich in Marvel its an entire nation ruled by vampires and his king Dracula. The thing about Doom is that he is consistently either the most dangerous villain around or the most reliable and powerful hero. When he's a Hero, the villains might as well just give up (it's also worth noting that Doom absolutely *HATES* the Red Skull [and Nazis in general] even when he's a villain himself, to the point that Doom will flatly refuse any attempts by the Red Skull to recruit him as an ally), and when he's a Villain, it usually takes an entire team of heroes (if not more than one team!) to actually take him down. And he also has an absurdly massive ego, but this also tends to lead to him dropping some of his best lines. Like the time when he saved the lives of a pregnant Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (the wife of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, whom is Doom's biggest rival and archnemesis) & her unborn daughter, Doom demanded just one thing in return for saving them: the right to name their child (effectively making himself their child's *Godfather* in the process, and he named their daughter "Valeria", and he's actually very doting and protective of her, and Valeria in turn adores Doom. Targeting Valeria is a guaranteed way to royally piss off Doom to the point that he will actively hunt you down and *personally* make you pay for daring to threaten his Goddaughter), and he then departs with the line: *"Enjoy your family, Richards. And remember every time you look on them that Doom saved them both, when once before, you could not."* And to top it all off, the late Stan Lee (the man who created the majority of Marvel's Heroes and Villains, like Spider-Man & Doctor Doom himself) has even stated that Doctor Doom is his favorite character.

They didn't mention when Dr. Doom destroyed a universe because that version of Doom befriended Reed Richards.

The Fantastic Four are super dangerous. People really sleep on them. Like Mr. Fantastic, even though Reed is just a guy that can stretch, he's also one of the smartest people in the Marvel universe. As far as Earth goes, I don't think anyone is smarter than him except his daughter. In Marvel that's a serious advantage as hyper intelligence lets you beat just about anything. Like Galactus, a creature that eats planets and therefore perceives of people as we would ants, respects Reed Richards enough to listen to him. Now I don't personally find the Fantastic Four interesting, but they are stronger than people think.

Kill La Kill is pretty good. But it pales in comparison to Studio Trigger's most influential series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Both end in space battles but only one ends with weaponized galaxies.

Doom in a Death Battle situation is completely busted. Once you remove his own hubris and the plot contrivances that people usually have to write to get him to lose he becomes pretty close to unstoppable with an answer to just about any opponent.

Doom is the master of extra. in everything he does.

Honestly, even if you had seen the Fantastic 4 movies you wouldn't have a clear idea of what Doctor Doom is like. I have seen three of the four movies and not one of them has had a version like he was in the comics or cartoon. I don't know what happened in the 1994 movie though.

depends on the continuity, but in at least one superman just stood there and let hulk tire himself out by punching to avoid collateral.

Why you already watched a slap on Titan just watch the Blake vs Makasa fight trust me there isn't much in it you wouldn't already know from the abridged series she isn't that big of a character later in the series.
