    "Its a Harley on steroids" lol, the 131 should be a factory engine option. HD needs to step up its game. You should not have to spend that kind of money to have a fast HD. HD should compete right out the door. Love what youre doing Blockhead keep it up.

    @Julian Crooks Road Glide needs major rear suspension to truly compete, it wins in ergos and the 114 vs indian 107(8) is actually pretty close, HD takes the dig, Indian pulls on the top but the rear suspension of that fox mono is so much better than the HD twin shocks

    @@mikeramon4664 Vrod is a very cool motorcycle, The bike Blockhead is building is going to be a screamer, its just, when done, going to have cost more than other cruisers with more HP/Tq, but it will be a Harley and a not a triumph or bmw

    From a consumer perspective, I can understand “this should be how it comes,” bc everyone wants the most bang for their buck. However in terms of ride-ability, it wouldn’t sell how the normal M8 comes w the 107 and 114 bc it takes it from being as friendly and controllable to “oh shit.” (note Ericks comments about it wanting to kill you, lol.) From a business perspective, if I was putting out a product, I’d want it to appeal to a wide range of consumers, so I can understand them offering it the way they do, but for those out there that want that extra umph, that’s available now while also keeping your warranty. Food for thought, just my .02 🤷🏻‍♂️

    @Soundwave he is right, a factory optional upgrade is what I meant to say. Your bike will, if it inst already, a buttpuckerfullthrottelscreamer, I had an '18 RG Ultra with a 107 I beefed to a 114, still only had 116 hp and 122 ft/tq, Loved that bike, This build is a perfect example of what a HD can be, but the question is, should it come this way from the factory? I think yes. Blockhead's bike, when done should crush Road King Kong BTW

    I had a similar experience while test riding a custom built Road Glide by 4 Rivers H-D in Kentucky. You know you’re on a rocket when you only use full throttle on the expressway in 4th gear or higher. I currently have a 117 stage 4 Street Glide. I’ve completed the suspension upgrades Legends F/R and going to a Woods 408 cam to start into the build. I’m going to wait until I see your thoughts on the S&S 590. That’s a little tall for me on initial thought however I like riding like you guys so I’m curious to see how it goes.

    Nice...I have a 2020 Low Rider S with a Stage 4 (117)...not nearly as powerful as my 2008 Triumph Rocket (its displacement in CI for those who don't know is: 140 CI...the new model is at 152 CI AND 100 lbs LIGHTER)...but for a Harley...not bad. I think the CAM plate, Oil Pump (I like S&S), Oil Cooler (JAGG Fan Assisted - it's a better design over the OEM design) and a Compensator (Darkhorse) should be upgraded over the OEM junk, ditto for the suspension (Ohlins or RWD). I'm eyeballing on making those changes

    I never really understood why you went with the stainless TBR exhaust instead of black but, whenever you showed that side shot while getting Eric's thoughts on the 131 c.i., now I definitely do. That exhaust is burning in nicely. Oh yeah, an absolutely great video.

  • @Lex-Rex

    Who knows about the "oh so early 2000s" but you're definitely correct about the black fading. That's why some companies provide full coverage heat shields. Obviously, TBR isn't one of those companies. My comment about the Blockmeister's exhaust was to concur with his choice not start an argument about stainless/chrome verses black.

  • @BlockheadMoto

    @BlockheadMoto

    Thanks William! Yup, I went w stainless bc of how it would ‘burn in’ plus the fact that black finish doesn’t do well under high heat, and the 131 being larger displacement puts out some heat! 👍🏼

After spending so much time on bikes not even making 80hp it has to be a shock to Erics system to be on one thats 50hp more!! :-P TONS of smiles under those helmets I am sure!!! Hey Block, how much worse is teh running temp in traffic now though?? adding cubic inches usually adds heat also....just wondering.... And I noticed BLue Elephant in your bike list...someone grab a Blue Road Glide to add to their stable?? :-P Also, imagine if you had added this all to your FXDR....that would have been a beast too...although that giant back tire would have stolen a LOT of power...

    A quick BH shirt review. The shirts are higher quality than I expected. In my opinion the sizes run a little small (I wear a large and like a little room in them) but it didn’t shrink up after hitting the wash multiple times and I’m still not having trouble wearing what I have. The bike bag is made well also.
