EXCELLENT show and tell !!! My dealer JUST did a S&S stage II (475 cam chest) w/PV TUNER on my 2020 FatBoy 114. And it took 5 OR 6 returns to the dealer to get that tuned just right, but once they got it .. WHOA MAN my BIKE is more fun than is probably legal ... like you guys said it becomes "visceral" SO to hear you guys talk about the ThunderMax and the bikes ECM it all makes more sense to me now. I am 74 years old so I am here to tell you you NEVER lose that "need for speed until you go sliding in to the grave ..." And I ride my 2018 Tri-Glide Ultra on Sundays !!!! THANKS for a good lesson - tutorial !!!!

Between 2010 and 2013 I was a student at MMI in Phoenix AZ, amoung my courses was high performanse course called "Screaming Eagle I&II. My project was a 2007 softtail with 1550cc big twin that was already race tuned. With the use of an exhaust pipe probe on the dyna and studing the burnt exhaust/raw exhaust ratio, and keeping maticulous record of the map sensor data, I manage to increace the burnt exhaust and lower down the raw exhaust, as a result I increased hp from108hp to 124hp and torgue upwards of129ft lbs. Best time of my life.

I've got a thundermax also and it has had a couple random problems. It's hard starting for one and doesn't always activate the compression releases, if the battery gets even a little bit low it won't start and kicks back on the starter. This is the new one they sent since the first crapped out. there is definitely a flaw in their software or something.

As I ride a 2021 Freewheeler 114 with a stage 1 to help her breathe and with a tank lift and wind deflectors to help the heat. I see that trike sitting in the doorway behind you all I would like some information on it. Be doing stage 2 next spring as want to get more miles on her first. Doing 10k fluid change next week. I only get to ride part time for now that's why only 10k in 14 mouths. Traded my super guide in on this Freewheeler. As getting up in years but still love being in the wind. Be 68 in October. You made it a long way since the 883. Great going.

I have a 2007 road king stage 4 106ci this bike was 105hp na, after turbo stage 1 from Trask i was at 165hp, asually you see a bump of 50 to 60% of horsepower when adding a turbo kit on a harley. First pull on the dyno the provided tune was too lean and we hit only 150hp, after a bit of tuning and adding fuel we were able to hit the almost 60% of power ! Yes on this bike you need to finish the tune to hit the full potential, you are only at 35% more power. Properly tuned you will hit 200hp normaly.

So getting on my 107 I am feeling like I jump on a race bike even. What are people doing bigger setups for? I don’t know. Would love to hear from people on why they want to drop 6 k into a bike on going bigger when my bikes roll on power on highway is already enough. You didn't told us about the transmission and the clutch. How to handle this torque?

How much boost to make that power? I didn't see a boost controller, is the boost adjustable?

Looking at the horse power per cubic inch. I have a John Cooper Mini Cooper that has a 2.0 liter which is a little smaller than this 131 cubic inch and my Mini Cooper is turbo-ed and puts out 302 hp.

You guys are on the right track. 145->179 is 23% gain, which is low for a turbo project. Still within reason, but without flat slick tires, pre-burn, and possibly traction control software monitoring the rider will never know the difference when the tire cuts loose. 170 the moment the throttle is twisted makes that bike worrysome as any kind of commuter- paint lines become 100% hazards! Still hilarious though

Definitely a cool video and one i wanted to see someone do for awhile. Someone in the comments mentioned a supercharger which would be a sick comparison of the two. Also, the raw exhaust seems to be a trend now, looks industrial and different i guess. I wonder what a set of straight duals out the back would sound like? Twin turbos on the T/A.......now that would be sick!!🤘
