    Its actually a posterior chain workout since you want to be all technical about it. So you're technically wrong, it targets core, lower back, gluten, thighs, calves. In no way is this simply a hamstring workout.

    This is at UNC Charlotte in North Carolina. I actually went to this school. Theyre in the gym they have dedicated to athletes. Every time I looked into the window of that gym, it was either empty, or there were guys doing some crazy workout like the man in the video.

    @@redd7133 These are a core exercise the same way that barbell rows are a calf exercise. Yes the muscles are doing something, and if they weren't doing anything you wouldn't be able to perform the lift, but the effort is insignificant and it's not going to do anything to stimulate growth in strength or size.

    Sometimes there has to be a bit of an arch so illopsoas doesn't snap going through the hip or is properly engaged. Depends on your anatomy.
