One of my friends played this in the car as we were driving back from an amazing evening at the cinema- everything felt so light and happy and perfect. I remember distinctly thinking: THIS is the song I want to remember tonight by. It embodies every gleeful, warm moment of friendship that I felt. We discussed our future plans during that car ride, our hopes, our ambitions. This song was just the icing on the cake, really. With exams coming up soon, it was a much-needed break from all the stress. May you all have moments like this of joy.

my brother in law passed away, in July. We found this band and shared it with him, and he automatically fell in love with you guys. He’s been to two of your shows in Oklahoma City, he even had your Bambi poster framed in his living room ! when he passed away, I remember being so unbelievably sad and finding the little happiness inside and dance my heart while crying at the same time to this song in our living room, wishing he was there to jam out with me. You guys mean the whole world to me, and my husband and to his brother. You guys truly changed my life, thank you.

it's been just a little over two years since I stumbled across this video and fell absolutely in love with hc :(( still my favorite band to this day

This song was played by my brother while we were on an Christmas trip in LA, it was rainy and the sun was setting so this song was perfect. My ex girlfriend recommended me this song and I just sorta had it on in the background once and told her I liked it without actually really hearing any of it. Now over a year later after we broke up I heard it on Spotify in its entirety and paid attention and couldn’t help but cry. I wish I could tell her how much I really enjoyed this song, I wish I had more chances to tell her that I love her more than anything in the world. But I fucked it up and I’m so mad at myself. And I feel like this song really captures that vibe, the anger, regret, everything that’s buried just beneath the surface of upbeat positivity.
