We'll go through effective exercises & stretches to help you unlock your hips and feel great overall. Let's kickstart our journey to better mobility and flexibility together!
It goes as follows:
STRENGTH THROUGH LENGTH:

(3 x 30 second holds)
MOBILITY FLOW: Repeat 3x⬇️
2a. Frog Stretch
(45 seconds, 3 rounds of contract/relax)
2b. Kneeling Hip Abduction

AMAZING stuff maestro. Question: for the frog stretch, should I care about posteriorly tilting my pelvis? Because when I’m in the frog pose, my lower back is quite arched. Just like with many other hip stretches, I tend to automatically anteriorly pelvic tilt (I think this is compensation). Thus, when I actively try to posteriorly pelvic tilt instead, it becomes way harder, but I also don’t go as deep. Is one way “cheating” and the other more “effective”, or does it really not matter too much as long you progress over time? Keep up the great work, and please let me know your thoughts!

For the frog stretch, we actually want to maximize anterior pelvic tilt as much as possible! In order to maximize our hip abduction from an internally rotated position(like frog pose), we need to anteriorly tilt our pelvis in order to create space for the greater trochanter of our femur to move past the ilium of our pelvis, so that the bony surfaces are able to sufficiently move past each other. This is why when you tuck your tail in this position, you find that your range is limited. So keep anteriorly tilting for any position that involves hip abduction!🙌🏼

The capsule stretch is like the pigeon but with the front leg folded instead of 90 degrees? Thanks

Yes exactly! Keep the shin straight instead of angling into that 90 degree🙌🏼
