Thanks. This was a much needed review, and I was impressed. Just a question. In the second room that they move you to, what was wrong with the A/C? I am very sensitive to a hot room and love a good A/C unit. In the room you ended up staying in did you find the A/C was adequate even though it was not adjustable?

A/C would not go lower than 21c in the new room. But the old room was ok

Does this Cancun Mar Caribe have a kids zone where you can drop your kids off during the day similar to the Tulum Resort? My family went to the Tulumn resort last Spring and the Kids Zone/watch program was Awesome! But honestly the Hilton Tulum beach area is awful and has me wanting to try another resort. Most people don't even swim in the ocean since it's so bad. The weather and the nice white sandy beaches is what makes the Rivera Maya so special (cenotes & mayan ruins too!). BTW great job on these Hilton resort videos!

Thanks for the wonderful review. Did you book this with points? Did they give any upgrades do a better room during check-in? Was the Vela restaurant okay? Because I'm seeing so many negative reviews about their breakfast and lunch. I was also wondering if they had enough chairs/beds near swimming pool or did you have to grab it early in AM?

I was Not upgraded to a better room during my check-in. Vela was ok for breakfast. Better try the other options for lunch. We had to grab the chairs early AM, but we always found a bed at some point during the day. Have a look at my other Hilton videos. @@lakemaker thanks Andrew. Wow, i am surprised they didnt give u an upgrade? I bet you did 4+1 or redeemed the free nights with aspire card. Its disappointing to hear they dont give upgrade to diamond members. Btw do you think those oceanfront rooms are better to stay? How was the steak restaurant then? It seems they have ribeye as a main dish. I have also been to hilton cancun and Hilton tulum. After watching ur clips, i feel like the only advantage Mar Caribe has is the ocean with no seaweed. And yes, I did watch the other videos you linked. 👍👍

Steak restaurant was good. At Hilton Mar Caribe the beach is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Better!!!! Compared to Hilton Tulum

Will they make you larger drinks in a YETI or do you have to take it in a plastic cup. I hate going to the bar every 10 minutes

Awesome review. We'll be going in 2 weeks. How was the kids club? We're traveling with 2 small kids and were told you can drop off the kids kind of like a daycare?

Thanks for the video! I am planning on having my honeymoon there in mid-January 2025. We are debating between an adult-only hotel or Hilton Mar Caribe. Since we are going during school season for MEX and US, we should not see many kids, right? Do you have any thoughts or recommendations based on your experience? Thanks!

Not that I know of

I feel like the reason it's bad is because unlike some other Hilton resorts, this one was bought by Hilton. That's why whenever booking resorts by famous brands I double check to make sure it hasn't been bought from another company because I don't want to risk poor service for me and my family.

Looking for a family friendly with good food and nice beach! Any recommendations?

I went last year twice but it was called Royal Uno, the prices were affordable, two nights room with beach view for 2 people I spent 700 dollars, the hotel is the same, it just changed the name, I would like to understand the increase of more than double, same period, march 2023 and march 2024, same room 1815 dollars, how they justify it ? do you eat better?
