This was easily one of my favorite shows of yesteryear. I still watch reruns even today on Amazon. Plus I own the DVDs of the entire series. Great humor! A masterpiece of comedy

Ester was a very pretty woman but they dressed he up to look like she was not. There are photos of her at Studio 54 about this time and she looked damn good. She started out as an adult dancer and comedian. In real life Redd Foxx dated her. This show was really just a way to do their comedy skits on TV. The son was meant to be Richard Pryor but they were worried about his drinking and drug use. Can't imagine what the should would have been like. Foxx and Pryor were in the film Harlem Nights. Very funny film. Enjoy your reactions. Very pretty young lady.

Why are my eyes drawn to the lower left part of the screen?
TC the regular guy,sweetheart I enjoyed it your easy on the eyes,did you know Yolanda Page and Redd Fox grew up as friends In the same neighborhood when growing up,check out the Dean Martin roast with Frank Sinatra both Yolanda and Redd are in the dais,also ck out Red Buttons never had a dinner collection make sure you sit down with a box of tissues
