Hiking Mount Moosilauke | NH48

Mount Moosilauke was the fourth hike of the 48 New Hampshire White Mountains 4000-footers Ashley, Willow, the girls and I did. Moosilauke is one of the more popular mountains to hike in the White Mountains and for good reason. It's a beauty. Ashley and I break down our thoughts on the mountain, the trails, the views and just how exactly does one pronounce Moosilauke?

Great mountain, and the Ravine Lodge and bunkhouses are stunning. Just back from a couple of nights there. Great video! I did get to meet Ross before he passed. Quintessential woodsman. Great memorial plaque. And even Dartmouth Alums use both pronunciations!

Fun seeing the hike from the Opposite side from the trail that I climbed. My favorite pronunciation is to just call it THE MOOOOOOOSE. haha

Love your videos and channel. These hikes have inspired me to take on a few trails in the NH/Boston Area. Also love the narration in all of these. Terrific stuff

If you want to sound like a local, the E in Moosilauke is silent.
