Nelson is unmatched in terms of explaining chess. He explains difficult positions and concepts so that even my 600 ELO ass can understand. He doesn't overwhelm me with information and at the same time explains everything. Thank you for being an amazing teacher.

13:56 you could've gone rook to e6 so if the queen takes you promote and its check so they have to block with knight or take the rook.

At 14:05 can't Hikaru play Re6+ anyway? Only two legal moves for black are Nf6 which blunders the Queen or Qxe6 which allows white to play d8Q. I'm probably missing something, aren't I? Edit: I think I found out why I'm wrong.

The black stalemated himself. That sucide move was intentional. In situations like this where the stalemate is artificially made it should be a win for the white.

Hi. Would be interested in doing a zoom class for my chess club? It's about 90 minutes. You tell us about how you started out, maybe show your biggest win then give a brief lesson. We usually end with the player doing a quick blitz game against a kid in the club. If you're willing to please let me know. Thanks
