Also 7:31 That's not the parking brake mate, those are the wing spoilers and those should have deployed on touch down. Better off reaching for the thrust reversers and putting all your weight on the toe brakes dude! 8:19 when Boris sets max thrust for that short field flaps 30 takeoff while still heavy with fuel for a transatlantic crossing (with the weight and balance being what it is as the CG changed too, AF1 hits the Starlifter and AF1 is a fireball), everyone standing in the path of AF1 would have been juiced in those engines, which would have inevitably failed after 100 KIAS but before V1 because of all the servicemen that got juiced in AF1's engines. If Sully's CFM56's on US1549 couldn't stand a flock of cobra chickens, there's no way those engines would keep turning ingesting Marines and Air Force personnel. In conclusion: best case scenario, AF1 is stopped on the runway, marines board, zee Russians die, movie over. Worst case, AF1 is a fireball, everyone dies, movie over.

The Pres can have an O2 tank. Even if the bad guys smuggled some onbord, they'd only last for minutes. Again, don't deplete ALL O2, only to about 10-15 %. I know it’s a movie but still this plot was so unrealistic having Gibbs as a mole. Eventually All the evidence would have led back to him. How was he going to live his life afterwards. The Russians would’ve killed him if they succeeded with the mission to cover up everything. If a man can betray his country and leader how will the enemy trust him. Still a great movie but one man couldn’t pull off that kind of mission. The entire service would have to be in on it.

You can legit conceal several SMGs like Uzis for instance, and small shotguns in suits and suitcases can hold foldable parts rifles and other weapons. (B) none of them have armor under their suits (C) there is legit only one area in airplane with an Arsenal (D) hardly anyone in the secret service aims for aims for head, pelvic area or legs. (E) no one has concealed grenades flash bangers and/or other devices of that nature.

A lot of people ask why this many secret service agents and military officers on board weren't able to take on 6 hijackers... Well these agents and military officers were mostly armed with pistols and probably had no body armour and most probably had little to no experience on an actual battlefield... Korshunov and his men were armed with assault rifles, smg's and body armour and were seasoned combat veterans with years of experience in the field as mentioned in a later scene...plus the hijackers with the aid of the Kazakhstani military would have made a mock up of Air Force One with plans supplied by Agent Gibbs and would have rehearsed for this senario....

  • @ShadowJonathan

There is no way to lock down controls of the flight deck, the entire deck is designed *to* allow control The only thing they could've done is to pull the fire extinguishers for the engines, shutting them down, with (almost) no way of spooling them up again, at least not for takeoff. That, or another irreversible action. It's very hard to fuck up a plane from the flight deck, including lock-outs. Also, there's no telling that these hijackers also knew of that button, and would shoot as soon as they reached for it

I wondered that too. It's out of context on what was going on. The secret service was still shooting. And then it's a moment of quiet. The clip we see for that short time of Ford alone was when he was alone on the plane for quite sometime down in the galley. There's a seen where he spoke their native language and he told a goon they're all dead I need help. Then he uses him to escape and take out more goons. It looks like it could be a clip of a deleted scene in the movie. When they had the full movie I noticed it there too. I need to see if it's on the blu ray too.
