@@ColonelMarcellus thats because it is just awesome and humorous for reasons hard to explain to see an overweight black woman floating in a parachute! if you disagree then do a thought experiment - if it was a trim middle aged guy with a mustache, it would not elicit the same response. actually, i think that is the only ethnic age body type that would get no reaction. a teenage girl, a elderly man would get that warm fuzzy feeling, but not a ordinary white guy.
Yet another classic music cue from the great Jerry Goldsmith. Thank you, Sir. May you continue to rest in peace.

Memorable scene from an awesome movie. William H. Macy smashing the emergency glass with his elbow at 1:08 was epic, and the future Postmaster General--wonder what became of her--is clearly having the time of her life parachuting to safety at 1:53-1:56. that glass breaking sound efffect was a little too loud lol, but cool. I have 2 suggestions that would have made these great scenes even more so: at 3:11 when the stupid terrorist points his gun at William Macy , who then says 'let me save him, he's the president for god's sake", Macy should have slapped the man across the face , knowing that he is saving the key hostage and can't be interfered with. it would have showed that yes he is not a gun wielding combatant, just an officer in an administrative role, but can still show he is a military warrior. For our beloved future postmaster general, we should have seen her calling out to the other parachutists to steer towards her and follow her, as she aims for a clearing or church. that would show her character is not just technically smart but has innate leadership ability Those that heard her command would yell it back to the others in earshot behind them and so on. then we'd have a super awesome shot, only needs 3 seconds (seconds are precious in movie time) to show the scattered parachutists coalescing into a formation , drifting to safety

That and the operator would have cut off the fuel flow and withdrawn the boom as soon as they detected Air Force One losing stability. They also have a fire suppression system and jet fuel is very difficult to ignite anyway so it's not likely it would've ignited.
