*Why do you feel guilty that our team beat them? They were trying to beat our team to win the championship as well. If Lyon had beaten The Thorn, they would have been jumping for having beaten a USA team.*

@@Ralph_Smith0724 lol Lyon don't celebrate friendlies , they're in pre season mate . If it was a serious match USA teams would get demolished by European teams . The difference in quality is too big

USWNT r a gud side not denying it , national teams r different coz the best players in the league r assembled together. My point still stands , these teams r in pre season, using different formations, giving different players & youngsters game time . Anyways it was just a friendly . I'm telling u can't compete with European clubs , they're too superior

*What I don't understand is how on earth the Women Soccer Federation didn't select Mark Parsons as coach of the USWNT. That change of Weaver for Salem was brilliant. He weakened his defense but by adding a forward he gave more space to Smith*

Parsons wanted to go back to Europe to be closer to his family in England. He is originally from England. But I agree, he would be an amazing coach for the USWNT.
