Possibly if the teams win in their their league like the Challenge cup or playoffs championship while Chelsea wins in their league. Possibly invitation as well since usually 2 teams. Hopefully 4 European teams and 4 American in future.

@@rosepeehanahbassit1520 I think the OP may be rightfully a bit sceptical about the Thorns over-celebrating like they just won the World Cup, for a "tournament" absurdly called the "Women's International Champions Cup" where they won just two games: (1) over Houston Dash after penalties (2) over understrength, pre-season Lyon with a late winner. At their home ground. 😂
