The point of the conference is to have him 'convince' them that he isn't a liar, but he failed to claim he isn't. The majority of people on youtube comment section though don't know how to access certain information on why TikTok is bad, the CCP pretty much wants to make sure no one covers it in the mass media. Why else did you think the 2nd in command on the Echelon of the CCP threw a hissy fit when America threatened to ban TikTok? The CCP banned all foreign apps, but throws a nasty fit when America bans one of them.

Every country has its flaws and dark history and levels of corruption and knowingly, the government officials are corrupt in terms of what benefits them the most... back to the main topic, within the highlights of this video, it only shows the summary of what transpired, not the entire story and/or the mismanagement of how the platform functions and/or its strong ties to the CCP.
