What a player. Every try they scored when he was on the pitch was purely down to him

As a guy from Toulouse, I want to congratulate the Cardiff team for their intentions in the game. They tried to play despite all the troubles. lot of bravery and fighting spirit. They honored the blue jersey. hail to the public too. They encouraged their team beautifully but respected us as well. Cardiff is one of these places where you can find the essence of rugby.

It was a great game. Toulouse showed why they're the champs and played some superb rugby at times. Dupont is absolutely phenomenal as well, well deserving of World POTY

Rugby the most beautiful sport. I remember in my youth watching Wales France, the most amazing game of the five nations tournament. Lot of respect for Wales teams and players as my grandfather was working in a mine too. Regards from France

@@sumboi2321 I think if Dupont is injured, we’re not talking about the same French team. They’re a top team for sure, but without Dupont, they’re just one out of 3-4 top teams that can realistically think of the RWC hardware. When Dupont gets crazy like this, he can carry the entire match on his back. He’s such a difference maker.

Pfiouuu je suis scotché! Un match que le Stade Toulousain devait gagner facile compte tenu de la crise sanitaire et des défections multiples à Cardiff (ne pas oublier que Cardiff était grandement diminué). Mais le Stade n'y arrive pas, déjoue, etc. Et c'est lui qui allume tout le monde. Tel Moïse ouvrant le mer rouge ou Jésus marchant sur l'eau, Dupont a débloqué ce match à lui tout seul! Ses 3 percées et son coup de pied pour l'essai de Bonneval sont juste magiques! On voit pourquoi le monde du rugby l'a plébiscité comme meilleur joueur du monde! Merci Toto! Continue comme ça, et rendez vous pour le tournoi 2022 et la coupe du monde 2023. Allez Toulouse et allez la France!

Watched this on the telly, the highlights can't show you just how knacked both teams were. Cardiff brought the pace, but toulouse brought dupont 😂

Ive started seeing more and more synthetic pitches over the past few years. They look great and are easy to maintain but i hate playing on them. Whole body is covered in turf burns after a match

@@mikewilliams4499 The surface of the pitch is way more important in football, it can definitely change the way the ball bounces and it rolls faster than on normal grass. Few teams tried it in Ligue 1 when it's been allowed because it was a good way to limit the expenses on treating the grass all years but all these teams came back to normal grass because it was more of a handicap and it's also dangerous for the knees since the ground is harder and every step demands more work from the joints.

Dupont is just walking on the water since 2 years. This match just confirms his influence on the game. He can run, step, charge, stamp, pass and kick all over the pitchn. The guy reinvents the 9 position. If you read some of his interviews, he's humble and rarely fully happy of his performances. In some way, he's got the same "hard-work" mentality of a certain wilkinson.

I m worried because last year Dupont was just one of the 2 best players of ST with Kolbe. Now he is become essential for the victory. Without him we will loose several games

Dupont is cheated, it's ridiculous. It's like watching Messi in a football game

Since when was Rugby a sport individual. If "the best player" isn't in the best team..? Please no balloon d'or ovale. No oval golden ball. This was a European match..not top 14 or RWC. The season, like each match is a question of endurance, rhythm and consistency. I don't care about the world best player...and will wait to see who is the best team.

Every time Dupont wins an individual trophee he always start to thank all his teammates for it. He is a shy and humble guy, he said that his name on the trophee surrounded by Carter McCaw and all was really weird for him. But as a France and Toulouse supporter, when he is on the pitch the entire team level is different. He is a real game changer, the match against biarritz Toulouse was struggling to win, he started at the 60' and 10 minutes later they were winning just beacause of his actions. He really is an alien i never saw a player with the same ability to change a rugby game.

You're aware Cardiff were missing over 40 of their squad? The side was filled with academy & non-professional players. I think all 11 of our bench made their debut 😂

Car dans les faits il y a longtemps, des siècles que gallois, écossais et toute la clique sur cette île n'existe plus et se sont vendus aux anglais pour en devenir de parfaites copies ! Et les gallois sont les pires de tous car de très loin les plus anciens, près de 800 ans qu'ils se sont vendus aux rosbifs et sont les braves toutous de leurs rois et de leurs reines !
