So painful to watch. Next time just sub to a real Demo Company with the right equipment and operators.
Watching the removal of that date stone was scarier than watching The Exorcist and The Blair Witch Project at the same time 😱
That poor American flag!
I guess they wanted to hire the cheapest company lol.
Holy crap, that excavator was almost upside down 😳😅😂
this is what not to do as a demo company.
These guys are super dangerous and sloppy. Moving the corner stone almost cost the one his hands!!!! GEEEEEZ !!!!!!!
Don't think much of demolition technique of excavator driver! V.messy
Now the students don't have to worry about going back to high school 😁😁😁
Who parks that close to a demo site?!?!?
by god that guy in the end almost killed himself he threw the tower to his side instead of pushing it to the other side a disaster he did not have much practice the amount of empty movements he made
Just found your channel. I’ve got equipment videos on mine as well. I subbed bud. Good stuff.

This county is extremely wasteful.
Every video you post of a demolition shows the wrong way to do a demolition job. All are unsafe and not one is done efficiently. This is not the way it’s done by real professionals. Smashing everything together in a pile is for fools and amateurs. Real demolition companies use their equipment to take apart and sort materials for recycling and salvage, they don’t use them like clubs to beat the building into a pile of twisted steel and tangled trash. You’ll never load a truck properly or with enough weight with all those twisted beams and bent bar joists. Also, the debris loads would be triple the amount because of all the mixed in brick and block. I bet they rarely work for the same client twice and never three times. All these videos should be titled “How not to demolish a ...(type of structure)”.

Shit, amateurs at work. The date stone should have been taken out by before the demo. Can you imagine the light from his cigarette falling into his beard. Also when you demo like this it is supposed to be from the top down, not your bucket under the main floor. @ 56.22 shows off his amateur skills, amazed he did not kill himself.
New operators and poor operators are sent on demolition jobs, not on construction sites where they work around people. I noticed his mirror is gone, his windshield broken and he fell in the basement.

Your opinion is yours , but you are wrong. Demolition requires common sense a very good understanding of physics and how a building is constructed. It also requires skilled operation of the equipment. What you’re watching is a video with none of those qualities. Rarely is a building being demolished not in close proximity to another structure or active roadway. Demo operators are always working “around “ people and property. Saying that they’re always new or “rookies” is not true or an informed statement.

I have to disagree, demo operator’s are some of the most skilled operators out there, having the skill and knowledge to bring down a structure in a controlled manner is not something that you can hand to a rookie, or a crackpot like they have done on this job. If this was a proper crew, the metal would have been picked out while the building was being dropped, trash would have been separated, windows removed before they even started, and all that would have been left on the ground would have been a giant pile of rubble for crushing and recycling, if they didn’t do that while bringing down the structure.
-Wrong matchine no idea of how to take a building down

It's the right machine! Big and powerful. It's the wrong operater! Operating the machine. Wrong company. Windows and the roof taken off first. Then start at the top and work your way down.
1954? bldg was not that old!
Don’t think that is the way the American flag should be treated.
CAT excavators are on the top and the motors sounds best Demolishing with shovel is awful..😒
Worst demo crew ever.
That guy in not a very good operater
jezz im sure that was scary for the driver shows how dangerous demolition really is!

No, it shows how inexperienced this company is, a real demo operator wouldn’t have put the excavator in a position to fall through the floor in the first place 😳
Crazy they don't allow wrecking balls
Hell yeah, destruction!
Give me a job
Every school kids fantasy......
Great video John. I guess your video was presented to me by KZread because I just published a high school demolition video, shot from my drone. Consider checking out my most recent upload.

Nice. Drones give you a great angle, and you don't have problems with looking over or through fences, etc. There are so many restrictions on drones in the Washington, DC, area (National Security) that I haven't bothered to get one. The best I can do is hope for is a six-story parking garage directly across the street.
Dear god hire real operator that guy is going to kill himself or someone else
Good job. Screw all you jealous haters. You're just mad he got the job done.
