nice
Not a brick tie in sight,no wonder the brickworks peeling like wallpaper, haha.
A seriously good operator working there.
Reminds of watching my kid eating a bowl of cereal. I am sitting here opening and closing my mouth with the cutter😊
This must be a different operator, far more satisfying to watch
This is the result when Father Ted tries to repair a leak in the roof 😂😂😂
That thing looks ram-packed with asbestos.
Why spray water?
lovely house if it was done up shame to demolish it
people that live in this house is now homeless😭😭😭
I really love their pet dinosaur LOL
This one makes me mad they tore it down.
Godzilla!
I like watching this guy work. He dont tiptoe around, he jumps right in and chomps it into splinters. He ain't messing around! Great video!
This building I do remember. When I worked nearby we got mail for ALPA mistakenly delivered to our office once or twice.
Nice video 👍👌
What a waste of time

I wondered what was making that creepy sound and its coming from the bobcat reversing. Although the beep beep beeping sound was annoying, i think i`d rather have that than this new sound.
Erschreckend was die Bauqualität betrifft. Für mich ist das nur Müll.
Why demolish a perfectly sound earthquake-approved building that can be turned into an apartment complex?
John, you are doing an excellent job with these demolition videos. I wonder how you find out where these jobs are. In any case, you're doing a terrific job. Thanks for posting these well-done videos.
Thanks. I use a variety of sources of information. Local news blogs. Google news alerts (e.g., demolition Baltimore). Tips from friends. (Dog walkers are excellent sources because they are out in their neighborhood every day.) Tips from friends in the industry. And just keeping an eye out for construction fences or excavators whenever I am going anyplace. (Red lights are helpful because they give me a minute to look up and down the side street.) Demolition permits are a public record, and are online in many places, but I don't find them that helpful. They can put a property on my radar screen, but they don't tell me if the demolition starts tomorrow or six months from now. Even with all these sources, I miss as many demolitions as I film.
He must be getting paid by the hour.
This guy is slow.
Wieder einmal eine tolle Reportage. Gebeude nach wenigen Jahren in einem erbärmlich Zustand das zeigt die Qualität schonungslos auf.
Have not been there in a while but it seems that the whole of Arlington is being torn town and rebuilt.
Really an ugly building and nice to see that go. Unfortunately, being under the flight path of Reagan, horrible place to put up a condo building.
You've got mail!
Is the refrigerant gas removed from old units or just vented to air to destroy ozone layer.
It is required to remove the refrigerant gas before demolition, and most contractors do. It is usually pretty obvious when refrigerant gas is left in the system. You get condensation when the coolant lines are broken and the gas escapes and decompresses, as seen in this demolition: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nWSctJuOkbDcibg.html
@@JohnZWetmore Key word "most"
I always thought it was a cool looking building 😢 Building taller= more tax revenue and profit for the landlord, so I get it.
💪👌
This guy is so slow compared with your other operators.
Going to shake up the ghosts lol
Another very enjoyable video john .Thanks for posting .
These videos are awesome! I love watching stuff get demolished. The part that cracks me up is every time there’s a guy with the hose to knock down the dust, he’s usually spraying an area that doesn’t need to be hosed down. The guy in this video wasn’t too bad but most are like a 4yo with the garden hose.
Again another great video, John. I was hoping to see it from the start, but I know that sometimes you can not be there when they actually begin.
I had hoped to be there when they took out the overhang in front, but missed it. I went up there half a dozen times, and only once were they using the high reach. It's a bit of a trek to Baltimore, so I couldn't check on it as often as places closer to Washington.
@@JohnZWetmore I totally understand, Mr. John. And yes that is a trek. You do what you have to do and I appreciate that very much. Keep up the good work! Bill
One of the hose guys is great but the other one is ... odd. 🤔 Thanks for the video John.
Why are there squirting water
He set his buddy an old chair out there for him to rest in lol pretty delicate work without destroying it!
To boring brick by brick.
I know a lot of people are saying why didn't they just go full force on this building. There is another building ATTACHED to the right of the building. One wrong yank could compromise the integrity of the attached building. Thats why they are being delicate. Its not a stand alone!!
I’m honestly impressed by how that machine is able to take care of those steel beams, especially since the company would probably have a pair of the same shears that are on the Volvo machine that appears a couple of times throughout the demo for the high reach machine?
What are they gonna build here now with this property
Hi mate, if I was considering leaving the UK and working in the USA as a demolition operative, what sort of opportunities are available and where would be a good place to start and find out more information? TIA!!
2:02 brick hits sign
Plenty of scrap metals in this job
