The 3rd vid actually shows them tearing down a classroom I sat in at one time. I have to admit, the teenager in me got a little bit of satisfaction watching that, haha!

Those cat excavators tore through that building with ease!!! The one thing they could have used were some steel shears. Great video!!!!

@@JohnZWetmore hopefully you are getting permission to video tape these contractors demolish buildings, I would definitely not want anyone to video tape me unless I had all the right equipment and tools for the job, pretty gutsy on their part if you know what I mean eh Mr John ? Plus you should turn off the comments on the page half of these people think they know what they are talking about when they don't. They are annoying as hell lol

Can’t believe these guys don’t have a shear and much safer handling those upright beams. Very dangerous the way they doing it and belting machines that hard seen many broken booms and their carriage mounts including dipper arms from doing that alone. Bending up steel like that is hard and risky, time consuming and hard to stack and reload and don’t get much in bins either. Reminds me of my cowboy days 30 yrs ago and looking back in hindsight lucky to be alive or seriously hurt on the close calls and near misses that happen regularly when your doing this everyday as a small operator but shouldn’t be necessary in the big leagues of today with so much better optional equipment and attachments etc. New machines these days are thinner gauges with higher carbon steels and break easier when belting them but I’m sure they will learn or grow quickly if they to survive. Still good watch though cheers

1970s construction...and they're tearing it down already? Then again, that building would've never passed Field Act standards in CA...pretty flimsy, perhaps only designed for a 50 year life cycle.

It was originally an open floorplan that was converted. I bet that's not the only standard it didn't meet. The HVAC was well known to be malfunctional and the roof leaked.

I read the manual twice. Honestly, I didn't see where one thing, or person, was guaranteed a 50-year life cycle.
