I'm not a huge fan of red dot sites on a concealed carry gun. To each their own. But I don't want nor need the extra size it adds. Irons will be more than adequate for what my 43x is for. 😬

That ported barrel is wild

That looks like perfection. I’m not a fan of the extended mags but everything else looks perfect. The mag does look cool, I’m just more partial to the standard fitment especially with the gen 3 Shield 15rd mags

Looks good, but that is a lot of fairly large ports starting very early.

@@kaleb7105 I don't have my carry permit yet, as my state was only recently FORCED to start issuing them - BUT - I wouldn't bother carrying a gun with a flashlight on it. I'm not planning on clearing houses, or hunting anyone down. I have other guns at home capable of that. My mindset is a carry gun is a "get off me" gun. If the "situation" calls for a flashlight to look for people, then the "situation" is already over and I'm leaving. Also, advertising exactly where I'm at, to someone I'm trying to avoid further contact with - seems to defeat the purpose. When I finally go for my permit, my carry gun will likely be my small 380 or small single stack 9mm. If it's uncomfortable or heavy or bulky, there's a greater chance of it not being carried all the time. Considering the fact the chances of it being needed one day is very low to begin with, I think convenient and comfortable is the way to go. Gucci guns are for videos. Practical guns are for carrying.

@@kctyphoon well you lose the 24/7 ability if it's in the dead of night. but to each there own. Tlr7a is 2oz, glock 43x is 23oz (roughly) so 1.5-1.6 pounds. I can wear my holster in basketball shorts, swim trunks and sweat pants although I don't usually leave the house unless i'm in a pair of jeans. Tenicor holsters are the best for edcs

@@kaleb7105 listen I understand the "idea" behind it, and the "preparedness" aspect of it. That said - realistically - the probability of you needing to pull a gun to defend yourself is very low. Factor in the probability that IF that were to ever happen, THE CHANCES are greater your assailant gets you by surprise (after all, they are planning, you are reacting) so there's a good chance you may be better off never drawing and just stepping back and letting the situation play out. Then factor in the probability of you needing a flashlight to either "stun" or find your target. I just feel like at some point you pass a threshold of "being prepared" and enter into the world of "too much is not beneficial". It's like the guy that carries around a camping stove in his backpack to claim his "I'm the most prepared social media guy" badge while he's commuting 2 hours through Manhattan - cause "ya never know". Just my 2 cents - if the day comes you need to draw down on someone - you should probably use that split second to get ur finger on the trigger rather than turn that flashlight on. I'll admit - it makes great gun porn on YT though.
