just randomly stumbled across this video trying to see other people’s g43x builds to get some inspiration for mine and honestly i’ve fallen in love with the look of yours man, looks amazing!!

I really appreciate the video. I just bought my first pistol today I went with the 43x mos. I fully went in the shop with my mind made up on a G19 (like most usually do lol) but when he brought me the 43x and said try this one too while your here, I fell in love. I don’t know what it is about this gun but every time I put it down, waited a few mins and went back to it, it was like a glove in my hand. I really wanted to get a 19 but I had the convo with myself in my head, and knew I was only getting the g19 based on things I saw in videos. The 43x mos was actually in my hand and it felt “like the right one” lol

Those clips are made by Discreet Carry Concepts and you can purchase them individually and put them on any holster you'd like. I personally have them on a crossbreed holster and I love it. They also make that other style holster clip that has the bolts side by side with more of a square shape on some more basic Kydex holsters

I've had my 43x Mos for a year now with holo 507k and SA gen 1 15 rd mags. Mags fail to lock back on last rd 507k just died on me, changed the battery for a premium battery, worked for a day and died again. Going to get with holosun to see what they can do but I've learned that I actually prefer irons tbh.

The Talon grip pro version has almost a roofing tile texture and its amazing! My hands slipped on the rubber version and the granulate was too abrasive, but the pro is the way to go!

I just pulled the pro version and went back to rubber. The pro rubbed too much

I think if your looking for a reliable mag with more capacity. Shield arms makes a 15 round mag for G43s

I had them in my last 43x and I had a ton of jamming issues BUT I just built out a new 43x mos and tried them again and so far they have been perfect. I need to put 500 more rounds down range before I come to a consensus though! I’ll be making a vid on it soon!

@@Stone2915 There's all kinds of problems to be had. Use the original plastic mag catch and the steel mags are a reliability issue. Switch to the steel mag catch in the plastic Glock mags become a reliability issue. decisions decisions

For anyone who wants to know….the Forward Controls Design Mounting Plate For GLOCK 43X/48 MOS is compatible with the Trijicon RMRcc.

Can you do a brief cleaning/maintenance video for EDC. This is info I think a lot of people, including myself, could use a lot more of. Thanks brother keep up the super high quality content.

Been looking for some info on the 43x mos as a new add to my EDC rotation and I absolutely love your build! Not only that but your video quality and the info you share is so helpful. I was originally jumping back and forth between the 48, 43x or p365xl to bring into my rotation but man I think you may have swayed me into the 43x! Earned a sub here, can't wait to see more builds from you!

Rotation? About as dumb as this guys video game version . Same tool all day, every day.. anythingnelse is just for show.. just like his little terminator 43x... Get a 43x, SA 15rd mag, quick clip-maybe 2,and if you can't handle any situation with that, you're trying too hard.

The printing on that holster is wild 😂

Could you make a video about how you would conceal carry while wearing a shirt tucked in (professional) and how you would carry while going to the gym?

Had mine for a while got 2 shield arms Mags, Factr USA trigger, ameriglo sights, recover rail with olight mini 2 then a awesome sidecar holster made by slimfit holsters a really good holster up there with tier 1 and trex arms.

better get the 17 if you're after higher caps, besides, the "concealability" of the 43 seems to be ignored...

Ghost plus 4 works flawlessly and is only 20 bucks.. Ghost extensions have always worked for last 15 years I used em.. It's just a sleeve n comes with a new spring n uses the oem glock plate.. Its flawless and light...

I really wanted the S15 to hit the OEM reliability level. While I appreciate the ingenuity of Shield Arms, I just can't suppress the alarms in my head about the possible reliability issues. Maybe things will improve in the future, but for now I am rocking stock 10 rounders with a back up +4 for EDC; I am confident that I can do work with 25 rounds should the situation arise. Great videos, and I look forward to more content from you in the future.

@@BananaRaid I bought some of the Ghost Inc. +4 base pads. They are polymer instead of aluminum, so they add minimal weight. Functionality seems fine with manual loading tests, but I am hoping to get out to the range with them over the next couple of weeks. I will report back once I have done some testing.

@@jt6980 I've actually also went with Ghost Inc and the +4. Although I've yet to take it out to the range, the +2 they offer is very comfortable in a side car and adds minimal print. They also both look fantastic imo

I have the Glock 43X MOS with shieldarms S15, one 15rd mag (flush fit) and two 20rd backup mags work great.

If anyone is looking for a reliable plus 4. Ghost inc makes one that I haven't had any problems with at all. Uses the OEM parts to do you just change the base plate switch over the spring and go.

You need the shield arms magazine with the +5 extension, can't go wrong with 20+1!

I have 2 but they had so many issues in my gun jamming I couldn’t run them reliably sadly. I’m still diagnosing the issue

i got the GS +4 extensions for the OEM mags and same issue they only hold +3. but they work great! no jams or hiccups.

That empire katana is mean as hell. I’ve got the shield arms premium magwell. It’s like the katana. Really a nice magwell still

If you're going to carry a 43X with an extended mag, just go with a 19 instead. Or switch to the Shield 15 round mags. No point in buying a subcompact then building it out to where it's bigger and less concealable than a compact.

The gun is cool but I don’t understand the threaded barrel on a little gun… the threaded cap is likely to pop off while shooting.

Love these videos man ✌ I'm looking at buying the 43x this week as my carry gun. Been super hesitant though as I want more than 10 rounds and heard so many bad things about the S15 mags. Looks like I might just go with 1 of these other options that give a few extra rounds if they are reliable 🤙 otherwise it will just be the 19 gen 5 instead

Bro, Shield Arms 15 round steel mag with + 5 mag extenders from Glock store gets you 21 freedom beans to serve up at the party.

I usually jus put one in the chamber then load 13 in the mag!!

At the size after the extension just carry a 19 or 17

If why don't you just use shieldarms mags??? They are a double stack, steel magazine that hold 15 rounds in the 43x. The extention is a really stupid idea when shieldarms is out there

I stand corrected from my last comment in your last video on the magwell. You are right the Katana is way better, feels better than the shield arms as well… great content as usual…

FYI…XS DXT2 Suppressor/RMR height sights are not made/available for the 43XMOS. They’re available in standard height only for the 43X. I just checked their website.

@@GUNMENusa I also got a response from Trijicon today. They also said they don’t make an iron sight at any sort of suppressor height for the 43XMOS that’s also compatible w/ their own RMRcc (that’s what I have on mine). Almost all of the other Glock models are supported, but no love whatsoever for the 43/43x/48. I think that’s ridiculous.

Hahaha Julian was my hero in high school 😂 and I did think about doing stipple work, but because I conceal it I thought it might rub my skin off so I went with a softer option 😂 but I’m not against stippling! Just depends on how you plan to carry

Why not just do the shield arms mag catch mod and roll with the 15 rounders?

The magwell was made out of aluminum, so its high strength corrosion resistance stainless steel?

Are you still running with the Entrada Holster ? If you had to choose between it and the Tier 1 what would you choose ?

new vid coming soon on this but I would go Black Arch. Less expensive, better lead times, and it clicks in. both are good options though!

the Vickers slide stop was the only 48 upgrade that I disliked enough to remove. Just for me personally, I found it too easy to engage by mistake.

Good video and nice build. Have you looked into the Shield Arms magazines, I really like them. The Empire Katana is awesome.

Yeah…the Vickers slide release is the truth. Was a little sharp on the edges and stiff in the beginning but broke in nicely.

Any reason you're not using Shield mags? even the flush mag from Shield gives you 15 reliable rounds, higher cap than your giant extension. Tbh even with 13 rounds that first round was popping up a little delayed!

Would you consider a comparison/contrast between the 19 MOS & the 43X MOS?

Really wish there was another rail option for the non mos G43x other than the tecover tactical rail. Stuck with my 100 lumen tlr 6 would love to get the 7a sub. I dont much care for the red dot. Gimme stock with a great light and night/day irons and I'm golden

It’s not noticeable in my opinion! But I wear layers or baggy clothing 😄 so it just depends on your style. I changed my style actually so I could carry what I wanted 🤷🏽‍♂️ And bro, one of my fav videos from back in the day haha

What trigger are you running and what’s your review of it ?

Dumb question. I have a 43x. Debating on getting a milled slide/threaded barrel/507k. Shouldn't I just buy a 43x MOS and a barrel and be done lol.

What ammo are you using. Since I’ve switched my magazine to the Shield Arm and changed the magazine release. Seems the only ammo I can shoot out of it is practice ammo. Anything else and I have problems with the gun

I was running those for a couple of months but they never ran reliably in my gun… so I’m still trying to figure out why that is for me sadly…

What make Glock be a Glock? This could be a dumb question but, after some many changes, what make it a Glock. What is the “thing” that if you remove it, will not be a Glock any more?

Are you going to have your slide milled for the RMRcc? I had CHPWS do mine, and it turned out really well.

The XS night sights…you have suppressor height or standard? I have the same set up as far as optic. Need to upgrade iron sites
