I put the hogue grip on my g43x and it feels like a regular compact pistol. Also running 15 round micro dagger mags with 300 rounds through each one with zero issues
Great video, but I disagree with the basic premise of either the 43x or the 19. The answer is BOTH. A mechanic does not just have one tool is his toolbox. Neither should the gun owner. You buy one and then a year later buy the other. Then which one you carry will depend on the circumstance. They are both legendary handguns.

Or buy a 2nd 19 one for training one for normal carry. Or buy a 48
My wife has the 43x but prefers the 19x. I prefer to carry the mos version of the G34, G35, and the G20. My point is where there’s a will there is a way to correctly conceal your firearm of choice properly and comfortably no matter how big or small you are. Anyway Gentlemen you have yourselves wonderful day and stay prepared.
43x for me. 180 lbs and 8 to 9 % body fat. So printing is an issue for me. Great video, as always guys . Thank you.

You might be surprised how little printing actually matters in the real world. The sheep in the grocery store are so oblivious that no one will ever notice. I have an athletic build too and I’ve carried full sized guns every day for 10 years, and no one has ever noticed in public (that I know of).

@stanthebamafan printing does matter more than you realize your not worried about other normal people but others who are expwreinced at doing harm look at you as just another opertunity for a gun. This mentality thst it dosent matter isnt good. Your assuming no one has noticed you mean no one has confronted you.

@@EdwardOrnelas I respect that. These days I’m hearing of more and more issues with the micro.
I use 43x for carry and 19 for the range. Love them both. Especially since I got 15rd Pro Mags for my 43x. Haven’t had any issues thus far and I don’t have to switch my mag release out cause it’s plastic where the release is. Hope this helps!
Sheld arms is not the only 15 round mags you can get for the 43x/48 PSA is making some for it too PSA micro dagger 15 round magazine Which is a better design I've been using one and I haven't had any malfunctions with it It's got a mix of polymer and metal so you don't need to change your mag Release to a metal one You can keep your factory plastic one in so you can still use the glock 10 round mag and the PSA one if you wanted witch for me is a better option incase it fails you can use the glock magazine with out being stuck with the shield arms one and having to change the mag release.

I’m one of these nuts who actually likes the feel of the 43x over the 19…i own both. My 19 is in a biometric safe with pop out door for home defense, and my 43x is my carry gun. Unlike the author, i did not find the 43x snappy or more difficult to shoot than the 19. I just find the 19 a little too chunky for my liking - so it’s all personal preference and what you can shoot well with to put hits on target. Since I had to qualify on the range for my CCH permit, I used my 43x and did just fine with it.

So, not sure where you shop, but my cost between the 2 is $100 more for the 19 MOS (when they're available) stock than the G43x MOS with 2 PSA Micro mags added in.. The 1st gen PSA micro mags need some tweaking, but nothing a small hand file and 5 mins can't fix.
Glock 19 gen 5 with holosun 507K and TLR-7A. Went with the lowest red dot possible since i appendix carry everywhere i go
19 or 45 but my lcp max is so comfy
I have both the 19 and 43x as far as printing I don’t feel like it prints any different, I wear a lot of “athletic” wear. Only big difference is the weight to me but not much but the 19 for me less recoil out the box
I don't live in a free state. I am looking at the Glock 43X or Glock 19X MOS. I used to have a Sig 365 XL, I loved that gun but I could never get a good master grip when pulling out of the holster. I did look at a Sig P365 AIG Legion but I saw allot of videos that complained about rust and $1200 is allot of money for a gun that rust out. I could use your advice.
Holsters for a g48 with this setup?
If you shoot a 43x or a 48 next to a 19, you will be better with the 19. just how it works. 19 is the smallest you can go if you still want it to shoot and feel like a full size. nobody ever talks about how the 43x and 48 are harder to shoot because they are thinner. not much harder but i mean there is a difference for sure in recoil and grouping for the average shooter. I could shoot with the 43x all day long everyday and still be better with a 19. my opinion.
I went with 43x but 48 would be fine too. 19/19x is good if you don't mind the weight. I mind it so 43x for me
Hands size is the deciding factor. The double stack glocks don’t fit my hand well so I don’t like shooting them. The 43x fits my hand better. And as someone who is used to shooting smaller pistols I just have more of them there the larger ones I didn’t think the 43x was any more snappy then any other gun it’s size but is more comfortable then many others for edc. It’s the thing about firearms what someone else likes or what feels good to them maybe totally opposite for you. Luckily we live in a golden age we’re there is something for everyone. All shapes and sizes and calibers all well made and reliable for every price range also.
I carry the 43x. But I shoot much better with a 19. I’m thinking about buying a 19 and revamping my edc.
Just a disgrace that Glock doesn't offer OEM extended mags. The 3rd party mags are not reliable enough
Can I run this G43X with G17 17 round factory glock mag ?
@amirdominguez8205

@Hu-ManGod
Ай бұрын
@@dasniper282 43x is better for concealment for sure - it’s a lot thinner and smaller. The 43x is considered a subcompact or “micro9.” Glock 19 is a “compact” and has more real estate (can get a better grip) which translates to better accuracy, and the slide is longer. The G19 is the most popular glock model in the world for a reason

Put a hogue grip on it and it feels fine. I have large hands with, according to my wife, meat sticks. I do get a rub on my middle strong hand from the trigger guard and it rules out wearing most gloves. I do run an antimatter thumb rest and shoot it just find.
Tiny hands the 43 is perfect for me grip wise
43x for me all day
Man truthfully I use to carry the 43x daily when the mos came out I hopped right on board but after all said and done ( with light, optic, shield 15 mags, and some other stuff ). The weight wasn’t to far off from my 19 with a rmr and tlr7A so for the past 9 months I’ve been rocking my 19 daily. In my opinion by the time you are done with all the bells of whistles to make your macro gun shoot the same as a compact you’re pretty much at the same weight of the compact. Me personally I’m just going stick with my 19 I don’t like having a carry rotation even though I have 12+ handguns I like to stick to one gun when it’s edc. Also if your concern is printing 99.99% of the time your average joe is not looking for printing I’ve realized the people who are looking for printing are mostly like a dude who’s just like you.
New to getting a compensator. I have a fully stock Glock am looking to get a Faxon threaded barrel and HA compensator. I see a lot of failure to feed. With stock internals besides barrel and the comp, to mitigate the failure and keep stock internals would you just turn higher grain ammo? Or is it required to change the recoil spring?

Should be fine to run stock internals. If anything a higher grain should buff it out so you don’t run into malfunctions.
