I have a feeling this video is gonna hurt alot of Glock fanboy's feelings. I just built a carry gun off of a dagger frame. Its a beast and so far ive put close to 1000 rounds (i JUST finished the build) and so far no issues. Gonna keep running it and see what happens. Not gonna give it any slack either. If a gun wants to be a competitor with guns its supposed to be comparable to, then it should be tested as much. I CAN say with confidence is that MY Dagger's trigger is VASTLY better than a stock glock. No mushy take up, very clean break and a very consistant reset. Have a Zaffiri slide and ported barrel with trijicon suppressor height sights and Holosun 407K. Only modification to the frame was a different mag release (stock release is very much so a Gen 3 Glock release and ai have never been a fan) and I stippled parts of the grip and added a carry magwell. Awesome Glock 19 clone.

@@caseysmith8831 So im not trying to toot my own horn, but im a very good pistol shooter so if there is a NOTICEABLE difference in acuracy, it would need to be benched. Just trying to be real. I don't wanna tell you something and me just say "oh yeah its way more accurate than normal" or "actually its less accurate it seems" and that actually not be true. Only thing was in the begining it was shooting pretty low due to a brand new barrel. 100 rounds later im back to 1/2 inch groups at point of aim point of impact. I think with my experience if I had to give a yes or no answer I would say that it is more than likely just as accurate as a comparable Glock. Sorry for the long winded reply. Sometimes honesty can take some explaining.

Loved the answer and yeah it’s confidence in your ability not arrogance's. That’s how I took it. I ve got a tricked out gen 4 with a blacklist arms barrel and custom slide. I feel at 25 yards i can make better groupings with that than my dagger. But I love the dagger lower! I am thinking of upgrading the slide and barrel. Trying to justify it. The dagger I have zero complaints! It cost as much as the blcklist barrel. Just my GunTism kicking in.

@@caseysmith8831 the PSA Dagger trigger (atleast in my case) is outstanding also. Its not competition trigger by any means but for a self defense/combat trigger its outstanding. Not as mushy on the take up and the reset is consistant every single shot. Normally i change out the trigger first on a Glock. Which I was expecting to fully having to do that. Nope. Im keeping it. I love it. It really must suck knowing that a company can make a clone of your gun thats 1/4 or 1/2 the price and is technically cheaper made and it still holds up in all aspects.

I have to say, I've had quite a few Glocks. Out of the box, I'd take my dagger hands down for quite a few reasons. When it comes to modded properly, I'd take the Glock. I've been running them head to head, and other than ergonomics, they're almost identical. The dagger was much less, and came with 10 mags, a range case, and enough extras I'd be in double to equip the glock the same way. I'm about 800 rounds in and love this psa.

I used the flash sales PSA did and for just over $500, I got a PSA dagger Full size s, vortex viper optic, and TLR-7 light. Complete upper and complete lower together was $285, light was $125 on amazon, and the Vortex was $117 on amazon (sale through optics planet) totaling $527. A non-MOS Glock is about $580 in my area. Mag release and spring is $30, so if the grip and trigger aren't an issue, the Dagger is a much better buy. Plus you can get a GSX100 frame with is a Gen 3 G45 frame, and a PSA upper for about $400. Different stippling, but then you have about a true Gen 3 G45 MOS. Still cheaper than a $699 G45 MOS. Also you can get a standard OEM Glock trigger with trigger bar for $20 if you really hate the trigger.

I'm not sure about the frame because I live in California but the slide is great for the price. But my Glock slide is much smoother and I trust it more. My dagger slide had machine marks that were really rough, almost like the ridges on a coin on the inside such as where the trigger connector contacts so it made the trigger gritty.

The best thing about the psa dagger is the slides. I run a dagger slide on a glock gen 3 frame. I wanted to run optics and have slide serrations etc but didn't want to send my oem slide in.

I bought 2 Daggers for my son's for Christmas. They are impressive for the money. One worked fine. The other has problems resetting the trigger. Not a big deal because we are going to replace both triggers with Glock Gen3/4 OEM.

Another plus for psa: you can occasionally find daggers on sale for as low as $269.
Now that PSA is releasing their version of a Micro-Roni for the Dagger, I fully intend to buy an extra Dagger for that reason alone.

Whaaat? I was gonna rig a Recover Tactical but I might hang out for this.
I just ordered my dagger compact in gray with the threaded barrel and the slide cut for sights all in I was at 412$ for the firearm plus shipping you can’t beat that
My buddy's Safariland 6354 holster fits and locks my dagger if anyone is looking
100% agree on the dagger upgrades. new trigger shoe at least, and new mag release are the only 2 upgrades ive done in addition to a tlr1 hl. gonna get ur comp soon. and a different front sight so they're not all blacked out
Awesome vid 👍🏼👍🏼 I say if you don’t already have a Glock go for it, but been carrying Glock for the past 14 years and no need to make the switch.
When will the magwell for the full size Dagger release?
One vault aspect you missed is, you can get a threaded barrel with the Dagger from the factory. Instead of having to buy a 200 dollar barrel
Love my Daggers AND Glocks. Agree on sights, you'd think glock could do much better. I replace stock Dagger triggers BUT also replace Glock triggers. My dagger builds average $300 less than my glocks. Just ordered your magwell for Dagger compact. Need the full size ones Dude!! Great insight on both platforms.

Is that a full size with y'all own magwell?! I need that like yesterday
I suggest people look into the daily deals in psa. I bought a full slide for 200 frame for 60 and a Glock mag in academy for 30 saving me 100$ after shipping and taxes.
With a dagger you also get a cut slide to add an optic.
Where did u you find that magwell at on the dagger ?? blends in w the fde well
Love the Tyrant CNC extended mag release. I have their aftermarket market parts on all pistols.
Any idea on when yall will restock the green dagger magwell?
in a podcast PSA stated they could raise the prices of there guns and people would still buy it. But they wont. There goal is to get as many people into guns as they can
Really wish yall would make a compensator for the sw5 cut. My favorite cut on the dagger and i cant get a comp which sucks.
19x lower w/ PSA SWR slide, Harrington arms comp, SF x300t, and Holosun EPS, she runs like a champ and I love it!
I purchased the compensator and wanted the mag well but I have the full size and it showed out of stock so I went with the gg mag well for the full size. If you get full size in stock I may do another one in a different color. Could you make the same fitting muzzle break for a glock 20 or the glock 40? I love how it looks like it’s part of the pistol. I want a comp 10mm but I think the comp offering look hideous and none look blended into the gun like your compensator or the radian jet. Great videos!
@Bravobart

That’s so true because I was gonna get a gsx100frame and just make a gen3 45 but I have to done research. I was able to get the GEN three Glock 19 slide to fit on the PSA dagger full size frame but I’m still considering the GSX 100 frame
My dagger trigger didn't last long before it quit resetting. I put a $25 shadow system trigger in it. Wow ,what a difference and very affordable.
Are you going to be restocking the comp on p365
I'm not sure about the frame because I live in California but the slide is great for the price. But my Glock slide is much smoother and I trust it more. My dagger slide had machine marks that were really rough, almost like the ridges on a coin on the inside such as where the trigger connector contacts so it made the trigger gritty.
I hate the Dagger trigger too, I swapped them out for the Apex Tactical Polymer Trigger

@@driftitlikeyouownitI agree. It worked good. I did swap mine out but that's because I've never really altered my weapons until recently. Now changing the triggers is definitely a smoother shooter but the regular trigger is perfectly fine.
i've broken 2 psa strikers doing dry fire approx 500ish times each. Definitely recommend upgrading the striker and using snap caps
Can you do Dagger Sabre vs Shadow Systems?
I have both, and I’m very glad to own both. they each have their own things I like, but I think I’m getting more value for sure with the PSA for how much I’m spending. and for the fact you can build one for about $260-280 easily depending on your local transfer fees, I’d say everyone should own 1 seriously.
The best thing about the psa dagger is the slides. I run a dagger slide on a glock gen 3 frame. I wanted to run optics and have slide serrations etc but didn't want to send my oem slide in. A psa slide is barely more that it would cost to have your own slide cut and now I have 2 slides one all tricked out and one completely oem.
What optics are on them

I like the feel of the dagger much better than glock, if psa put same texture s&w put on m&p 2.0 ot would be amazing but a lot of people say that's too aggressive lol
Legacy name = 1 year warranty. PSA = Lifetime Warranty guarantee
I would prefer these types of video's focus be the gen5 glock because that's the dagger's competition, not the gen3

Glock is a great platform, but I don't really care for them right out of the box.
Just wait for the Sabre Dagger
Handle it edge series grips are 20 and have the best grips imo, all Glock needs is that and ameriglo sights ( gen 5 triggers don’t need any changes )
I’ve owned 4 glocks now I learned I prefer the gen 5 bc of the crispier trigger and softer recoil bc of the new spring they put in so , as far as I’m concerned next gun is gen 5 Glock 30 then Some rifles currently I have a gen 5 g27 no look alike cheaper option is gone make me change my mind Glock is a lot of fun to shoot

🤣😂🤣 I love reading the glock fanboys comments, they like to tell people what to do with there money, they just can’t help them selfs,
Wouldnt you interchange a Glock 19 upper with a PSA Dagger lower since the Dagger is technically a Glock clone or are the parts too different?
@caps741

You can. I have Dagger, G45, G22, and G19. If you have a Gen 3 G19, the slide works fine with the dagger frame.
Stock dagger is good overall, just get a Timney or Tactical Pontoon trigger pack
I got My frame full size for 49$ and the slide for 199$
I carry and much prefer the glock but the dagger is where it’s at. Half the price and it’s been just as reliable with any ammo and magazines
“We Are Nerd” makes amazing holsters for the Dagger
You can take the Dager slide off and put it on the 19 lower.
@caps741

Yep, I've done it. It works perfectly fine. Glockstore also has a GSX100 frame. Different stippling, but it's basically a Gen G45 frame. The plastic (polymer) is harder than the dagger frame so initial parts install is a bit tight but it uses stock Gen 3 G19 parts.
OH THANK GOD. SOMEONE FINALLY TOLD THE TRUTH ABOUT THE DAGGER'S TRIGGER!!!
I’ll keep my Glock

What are you using the gun for? Full size is better for home defense and competition shooting while compact is still a good option for home defense but is much more concealable. I'd only suggest carrying a full size gun if you've carried a gun before. Every few ounces makes the difference between "yeah, I'll carry today" and "I don't wanna carry today".

Dagger.. That Glock Grip Angle is Trash
Dagger a Glock clone?
Glock fanboys?? Lol you’re essentially running a Glock anyways. Stop hating and just enjoy it. I’ve got multiple Glocks, daggers and shadows systems. Love them all but I’d never choose a dagger my stock Glocks.
I can get 2 Daggers for the price of the Glock. This isn't comparing lets say a 1911 and a S&W and saying Oh I can get two S&W for one 1911... that's apple and oranges. This is apples and apples. The Dagger trigger is just as functional as the Glock. If you are a trigger snob (which I am) you would swap out either of them so that's a moot point. They both work but not great. Dagger exposed how overpriced the Glock is, and has been playing off it's name.
My dagger full size was $230. $60 frame and $170 complete slide. I could buy 3 for 1 glock. I don’t think they are as good as glocks but they are cheap

Anticdotal story , I know , but got me a Micro Dagger finally , it didn't work. Sent it back , they allegedly fixed it , but still have it. Starting to piss me off.
Just like the shadow systems… nothing new guys. It’ll be cool for a few months maybe a few years but at the end of the day Glock still wins. Glock is a multi billion dollar company with decades of research and the world’s greatest engineering teams.

I’m hesitant considering the quality issues you often see with PSA. Also, as a lefty, gen 5 is the only Glock I care for. The slide release is such a tiny detail, but I won’t buy a gun without it. It’s like buying a right hand bullpup… yeah it works. No I’m not gonna like it.
I love PSA rifles but for self defense when my life is on the line I'm sticking with my Glock.
This subject is a moot point! The Glock 19 Gen 3 is a proven firearm, full stop! The Dagger is a clone of a proven firearm! Glock is a pistol platform that allows the user to tune the firearm for specific users or needs. Such as an AR-15. Let’s stop having childish conversations about semantics and start having conversations about anything else but the Glock 19 Gen 3 things. Boring!!!
ive never liked hinge triggers at all. Shadow systems is the way to go tbh
No ! Buy a gen3 Glock or police trade in ! Glock has top of the line quality control! Best Tupperware you can buy
