I took my Champion 2500 Dual Fuel up to a campground at 8300 ft. I exclusively use propane and decided to test if replacing the jet was necessary since I live near sea level. The Champion fired up and ran for several minutes at the high altitude with the standard jet installed.

I am looking at some larger champion generators with inverters, but before I purchase it, I am trying to locate the jet kits for high altitude (4500 ft) but cannot find them. Are they still available? If so, where can we purchase them?

If you do not need to change jet for propane use only, are there any adjustments that need to made for high altitude? 8,000 ft and above? If so, where would one find instructions?

No additional adjustments would need to be made. Just note that for every 1000 feet above sea level, the generators lose 3.5% of power. 👍
