Eu amo as performances de 1995-1996 Mas ela já estava com a voz desgastada e isso acabou atrapalhando algumas performances, por mais que ela alcançasse G5, eu prefiro aqui com um ressonante B4/E5

After hearing this version I don't even want to listen to the studio version anymore, the climax here, and many other live ones, is so much better

I do believe this is Mariah Carey’s best performance of this song. The reverb of the environment adds to the power that she puts behind her pitch-perfect vocals.

Warm tone and resonance unmatched, such a beautiful era vocally, she dressed so cute too, loved the well deserved standing ovation at the end.

This was around the same time she did Endless Love with Luther Vandross in Royal Albert Hall (RAH). Listen closely to all the falsetto "you's" that she does here. They are near identical to the ones she does in Endless Love in RAH. This time period, in my opinion, is her vocal prime.

@@smsyts I was talking about the Capitol hill Washington May 1996 performance which was a semi-note lower. So it would be easier for her to belt the G5 because in the original key it would be an A5, which she only belted ONCE in The One live 2002 Shining through the rain.
