Sarah Brightman & Andrea Bocelli - Time to Say Goodbye (1997) [720p]
Ойын-сауық
In November 1996, Andrea and Sarah Brightman were invited to perform the duet 'Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partirò)' at the farewell contest of the German World Light-Heavyweight boxing champion, Henry Maske. A national hero held in unrivaled esteem, he is known for his love of selecting entrance themes to his bouts. Sarah Brightman, the internationally renowned soprano and friend of Henry Maske heard 'Con Te Partirò' in a restaurant while dining with her friends. Entranced by the singer and the song, Brightman made contact with Andrea. Andrea and Brightman re-recorded 'Con Te Partirò' as the duet 'Time To Say Goodbye' with members of the London Symphony Orchestra.
This live version is from Brightman's first full concert recording, "Sarah Brightman: In Concert", from London's Royal Albert Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Paul Bateman. Guest artists include Andrew Lloyd Webber, Adam Clark and Andrea Bocelli. The concert was released to video in 1998.
The concert was directed by David Mallet.

Of course i do and so does anyone with enough understanding and spirituality,i might not know why he does many things and definately cannot know or begin to comprehend all that he does, but i know Of many things that he does do and has done,on this planet and The lives of people, his signature of creation can be seen on everything around us,if one can open his eyes to look a bit further than his nose. His will and word have been made known to us through Jesus Christ, and it might be your interest but not my consideration or concern if he is a "she or he" even people that do not believe in Religion and are Still searching for the truth, logically and by any probable "estimates"of a Creator God,if he would exist,he would clearly be beyond gender level .
Sarah Brightman has a vocal out of this world.

YES, SHE IS OUTWARDLY BEAUTIFUL. And that is what most of us "see' when we look at her. Imagine being sight-blind and unable to "see' those qualities of beauty. HE would need to rely on some other sense of determining "beauty" in a woman. I believe both His and Her interactions were more than practiced AFTECTATIONS. They both held each other in DEAR regard. Simple; Honest and Pure of Heart. That IS the magic.
It’s a song wonderful!!! Most beautiful!!!❤

Still listening in 2024! My Daddy was in love with Sarah Brightman. He used to say " if she was my girl, I'd be penniless". We grew up in a house of music, Opera, John Denver, Stevie Wonder, Niel Diamond, Journey, Elton John, Jonny Cash, Ella Fitzgerald. We played this song at my Fathers funeral in 2003, miss you Daddy.

Generally not an opera fan but this number makes me feel like I'm floating
I worked as a musician on the Grand Princess in 98 and they would blast this song out from the ship whenever we would depart Venice. It was the biggest cruise ship in the world at that time, so the port would be crowded to watch us leave. But more than that, GORGEOUS song! I learned how to play it, of course.

I am almost 60 years old and have never had a woman look at and touch me like she did to him, This performance makes me so happy and so sad at the same time. It is almost over now, so maybe in the next one. If you have seen that look from a partner, you were blessed. If you still see it, reflect on how truly lucky you are. Not everyone has.

@@tomhermens7698 Hello 👋
Songs like this should be always in the mainstream, maybe less violence and terror in this place
cant imagine the privilege of seeing this live!
I love this song because the two of them sing it so flawlessly and their voices compliment each other perfectly.

Quando sono sola Sogno all'orizzonte E mancan le parole Sì lo so che non c'è luce In una stanza quando manca il sole Se non ci sei tu con me, con me Su le finestre Mostra a tutti il mio cuore Che hai accesso Chiudi dentro me La luce che Hai incontrato per strada Time to say goodbye Paesi che non ho mai Veduto e vissuto con te Adesso sì li vivrò Con te partirò Su navi per mari Che, io lo so No, no, non esistono più It's time to say goodbye Quando sei lontana Sogno all'orizzonte E mancan le parole E io sì lo so Che sei con me, con me Tu, mia luna, tu sei qui con me Mio sole, tu sei qui con me Con me, con me, con me Time to say goodbye Paesi che non ho mai Veduto e vissuto con te Adesso sì li vivrò Con te partirò Su navi per mari Che, io lo so No, no, non esistono più Con te io li rivivrò Con te partirò Su navi per mari Che, io lo so No, no, non esistono più Con te io li rivivrò Con te partirò Io con te
I can listen to this song for ever and ever, it never gets old. BEAUTIFUL
My grandmother had this played at her funeral, she was not Italian but her husband was Italian. She kept her ring from his death in the 80’s and kept it ever since even during Dementia, she remembered his spirit during that period and made it adamant that this song be played during her funeral. It was played during the caskets departure to the hearse. God bless her she stayed loyal to Pasquale to the end. Today this song makes my mother cry every time. For me it holds great sentimental value.
