I would go as far as to say the majority of what Etho is part of doesn’t get posted as content on his channel. He’s just a gamer at heart, and he shows up all over the place in other people’s content just gaming with them. He shows up in a lot of VintageBeefs content too like he has been in Vodskalls as of late

If you make another gilded/ornate/living chest breaker, put about 20 mining speed on it. When you run over a slab, you lose instamine if you have below 20 or 21 mining speed. We call it the "Y level bug"

@@EthosLab It can also be fixed by clicking on another block (like a bit of stone nearby). It happens because the game thinks you're still falling, so you get the vanilla falling debuff.

Scavs are never not tight. They're the hardest Vault type by an absurd margin.

@@couchalmark675 it's not an absurd margin, they can all be tight if the RNG is bad and scavs can be easy if the RNG is good. Scavs are meant to be the most challenging though so it is true that their hardest RNG probably takes longer to complete than any other's hardest RNG but with their easiest and medium they're about on the same level of difficulty

@@apersonwhomayormaynotexist9868 In hundreds of Vaults I've never seen an easy or even medium scav. It's always been either right down to the wire, or, far more commonly, unbeatable. The amount of RNG rolls involved in whether you can complete a scav - what items you need, what chests they're in, whether those chests appear in any reasonable quantity, whether the enemy spawns contain enough of the enemy type that drops the particular color of mob essence you need - is much higher than the other objectives except maybe cake. Very frequently the amount of items you need from a non-wooden chest is so high that the only realistic ways to get that many are to find a dungeon or Omega room that happens to have that particular chest type. For comparison, elixir vaults are free, monoliths are just a matter of running between rooms for a few minutes, and guardians are a gear check. What the rooms themselves are doesn't matter.

I swear I JUST finished watching Iskall's videos of you guys with False. It's like an uninterrupted stream in here

off topic, but I want to say that you're the ONLY youtuber I've consistently been excited for for nearly 15 years now. your calm demeanor and the way you've never chased views or clout has left you singular in a world that more and more has focused on the destination rather than the journey (for those who understand) you're one of the few people left who does what they do publicly because they enjoy it rather than because it makes them money. I'm not going to say something reductive like "I love your work, keep at it' or 'great job on this video, you've out done yourself', instead I'll leave you with a simple, and likely unnecessary, plea to keep being yourself. My only hope is that you have the happiness in your life that you've brought to mine and 2.5 million others.

So good to see another Vault Hunters video. I've been living off Isakalls videos (which are great btw) with you in it, to satisfy my need for Etho content lol. So glad to see you enjoying the heck out of it though! I loved both times you said the Scavs were easy, and failed both of them lol. Keep up the great work!

I have absolutely no idea what is going on or anything about vault hunters, yet im utterly captivated. Only Etho can do this to me.

I love how etho shows us his armor and weapons when we all are already watching his stats on the vault hunters website.

Love, love to see you having much much fun in the Vaults. Your pace was quick but still one could catch on what was going on and you explained things so as someone who hasn't played Vh could get a hunch what is going on.

I have known since the first vault hunters episode I ever watched of Iskall that Etho would love it. I'm so glad to see him in his element. 😊 Plus I've been a fan of Iskall and Ethos friendship for years.

So amazing to see Etho having fun in VH. Hope this will get a dedicated series for like 20-30 eps. Nothing to crazy

Pro tip for you: In your inventory, hover over the backpack you want to open and press the key you have bound to open backpack. That way you dont need them on your hotbar. Saves a lot of inventory managing time! Glad you're enjoying vault hunters as much as we are! also, i was a hammer hater just like you until around lvl 70 someone gave me a hammer. Life changing. Actually so much better than vein miner. One hammer lasts forever, literally have only had to repair it once and im almost to the next tier of tool.

I was absolutely dying of laughter with those last Iskall clips.

I’m glad you played this on your own. You did some unconventional things, and I know the VH can be very aggressive with following a meta. Etho at the top of your hud you will see what your run items are, and WHERE you can obtain them from. Such as the little zombie/skeleton head to the left of the Purple Essence! :D

This base reminds me of Honeycomb labs from the Crackpack season 1, which was one of my absolute favorite Etho series and one of my favorite of his bases. Really amazing stuff!

Awesome to finally see your strat for dungeons, I've been seeing you on iskall, but he hasn't revealed your strats, and I've been very curious since no one else has really put effort into dungeons specifically.

A minor tip for you - if you hover over a backpack in your inventory and press the "open backpack" key (so "b" by default) it will open it, so you don't have to keep switching them to your hotbar! :)

Something that may help with the green doors is using the "Show Overlay" on the Jade mod (Default bind Numpad 1). Loses less time. It shows info on whatever you're directly looking at

Hey, Etho! If you have a chance i'd suggest trying out the triple jump trinket. I used to use the wings - dash combo that you've been using until I gave that a try and it gives me so much more control over my movement with the benefit of not needing mana (dash).

Also i'd suggest to try and get as many orante chests as possible because your sword is not near max since you can get a legendary modifier on attack damage. I've got one on my sword and I believe I have around 95 base attack damage purely on the sword.

I love this series, it's a mix of everything etho is good at and enjoys... and it means long rants and episodes >:)

Hey Etho! I'm playing Vault Hunters myself, and I found that when fighting mobs, it's super effective to jump and crit mobs constantly. It works perfectly with the timing of your sword, and once you have the aim down, you can get rid of crowds in no time! It takes a little bit of practice to chain crits like that, but when you're always critting you deal an insane amount of damage. It's super useful for any PVE

As an in-between series, I think vault hunters is the perfect thing. I'm usually not a big modded minecraft fan, but vault hunters is really interesting as a viewer and watching the entire vault run is really engaging. I have been watching some of Iskall's videos so I really didn't need much explaining to catch on, otherwise I think all the moded stuff would be a bit confusing. I do hope to see vault hunters return in the future after the 100 days, for example between Hermitcraft season 10 and 11, if it ever comes to that :-)

You should do a modded series of Vault Hunter after hermit vault hunter server is done. Maybe do a series with Iskall85.

So glad to hear, and see, how much you are enjoying VH. I’ve really enjoyed watching you play it. I started a new “season” of VH on my server the same time you guys did and I’ve been pacing you pretty closely the whole time as far as levels (I’m 82 rn). You’re far luckier than me though, as I’ve only opened 10 treasure rooms and have zero treasure scrolls. I switched to rampage and lucky hit a while back and like that build a lot. My sword plus armor build standard hit damage is 600. Learning a lot from your play style and how you’re thinking about things. Just glad you are enjoying it so much!

I just think this pack is so so cool. Its a great mix of so many gameplay systems. As someone who hadn't seen the pack prior watching your series on it has been a joy, because while you have brought us a long on learning some of the systems, you also have put a lot of time in off camera to learn them yourself. So compared to your other modpack series, I as the viewer have felt more intrigue trying to put all the layers of gameplay together as I watch you just play, and I have quite enjoyed that! I hope another series of this is in the stars after this one wraps up soon.

I appreciate that Etho spends a little time explaining how the game works and his strategy. I've had a hard time getting into Vault Hunters because most of the videos I've seen seem meant for people who have played the mod pack. It's nice to have an idea what's going on beyond "block man has weird tools for treasure dungeon."

Another fantastic video :) I very much enjoy watching this series. Shows us how you play PVE. A nice addition to all of your other building, and technical content.
