@@CarolineLurks You can just replace the ore blocks with any other block. What is left, redstone wise, is not that expensive. I think Doc just doesn't think about the diamond ores as required, so he left them out of it. But it sure did sound funny.

Oh my gosh! Cub asking Doc, "You got an anvil? Where's the anvil?" got me laughing. Of course Doc's got anvils! Just be careful asking for one, you might just get it! 😄

The button means war: Use wardens to protect the button, use ice (shaded from sunlight) to detect if the lamps are on (it'll melt) (reset it with frostwalker), build an impressive fort around the button, and use skulk sensors to listen for nearby hermits

One of the most impressive things about Docs base is how it doesn’t lag

I gotta say, I absolutely adore how cartoonish and eccentric the Wither Overreactor is with the targeted no-entry sign and the giant wither and working boss bar. I like that it's not just a box with the reactor- not that the farms aren't cool on their own- I just think it stands out and makes it just that much cooler that it's got a design with a theme. Thanks for uploading, Doc, you always make my day with your insanity

i like how your raid farms went from this giant amazing thing that took months to build back in season 6 to now just a dinky little thing.

Doc! Build a chunk loader underneath the button and have it running while you’re online. Also calculate the time it takes for the button to go down once so that way you can calculate how long to play before checking the button!

I have to say that Grian and Scar's destruction brought me here and now you are my favorite Hermitcrafter to watch. Always fun to watch!

Doc just uploads the a whole session's worth of content he plays on Hermitcraft And I love it...

I love that Doc always calls out his amazing community in each episode and has such wonderful long episodes, not many do them or they do them but its like unedited stream. Appreciate the edited episodes and the time you put them in them Doc, keep being amazing!....and maybe trap Grian's Rock "Dwayne" base as it seems he got off the hook for blowing up your tunnel bore.

I don't usually comment, but I needed this episode. My grandma was in the hospital with a blocked heart valve, and though her surgery overnight went well, I'm sure you can imagine the weight on my mind until I heard the good news. This episode in particular helped keep me together this morning. Thank you, Doc.

For the boss bar, with the area on top of the concrete powder, perhaps you can try adding deepslate or blackstone slabs to cover the concrete powder and to not allow mobs to spawn in any way. It could also mean you might need to change the blocks around the bossbar (the black concrete) and it would add a bit to the top of it, but it wouldn't be as bad EDIT: CONTINUED WATCHING AND FOUND OUT DOC HAD THE SAME IDEA, GOSH Second thing, if other hermits would have bossbars on, you could name the withers to something to make the bossbar be named something, that would be funny.

the withers are all in the exact same spot so i don't think it's possible to name more than one (unless through relogging?), and given the spawn button is outside it's likely that being near them when they spawn is bad so that wouldn't work either

Doc you are the G.O.A.T. !!! Love how you support fan art. In that vein, please consider building an art museum to feature every piece you selected each episode. Together they tell the story of your season and it is awesome. Add books or podiums for all the information about each one. I know you are very busy, maybe just ask for space in one of the museums being built now. This would be incredible to visit 😊.

For those that don't know, Doc has a degree in Economics, IIRC. So, since he has a penchant for engineering, he would most likely be a socio-economic engineer.

Scars storage system is impressive. How can it possibly get that bad. I feel a strong urge to clean all that up it stresses me out.

I love finding out that youtubers I watch watch other youtubers i watch. Impulse watches yogscast Simon and Doc watches potato and Iskall is friends with HarryBarry and Martyn Littlewood is friends with loads of hermits. Now we just need another jinglejam crossover stream.

All that Doc's done this season is make normal Java seem modded though.

That's the beauty of the internet and gaming in general, bringing people from so different worlds together. I mean, let's be real, how high are the chances for someone at CERN meeting with a brewer and having much in common to talk about? Rather slim I'd say. But it doesn't matter where you come from, what you do for a living. People just enjoy a passion together, meet and create awesome things forming some of the best friendships possible. That was actually really interresting for me hearing about the individuals of the Hivemind a little bit. I guess people who're into the technical side of Minecraft all know about them, but for me, just a casual watcher, those are just some names I hear when you talk about those crazy contraptions. Would be nice if you spotlight some of them here and there and tell a few more words about the geniuses behind all those projects!

You can secretly attach a small module to Mumbo's machine which turns on when the button is at the red phase, then using wireless redstone of any sort you can get it transferred over to your base and possibly have a emergency act in your inventory (like s8 but unfortunately that update suppression got patched but ik you can come up with something) would be funnn to seee

I came over from grian’s channel after all that with the tunnel bore but what has kept me engaging here is that doc just has so much care for his viewers and puts so much effort into his videos it’s incredible

Talking about tweakeroo features, I'd suggest looking into "gamma override", it's like night vision but without the potion. I like using it in caves but I imagine it would be really nice when you spectate Total chaos

Now I do doc's intro along with him. It's a thing now 😆 "Hey hey guys"

It is a "Wither Reactor" when used for peaceful uses and an "Over Reactor" when used in anger.

The more you add wires and stuff to the Withers, the more it seems some Mass Effect technology. Cool

The boss bar was the perfect addition, I do think adding some explosions would be cool too tho

I always love doc‘s intro.

Docm77 and Grand Admiral Thrawn from Star Wars have much in common. Both are not human, a goat father and chiss respectively, both are crazy intelligent, both have a network or hive mind with them, and both absolutely love art. I don't even bother with notifications, but I temporarily forgot how to account for time differences, so I spent two hours needlessly refreshing KZread. And I know that reporting bots does absolutely nothing, but I always do it anyways.

At this point, I'm just waiting for Doc and the hivemind to find a way to locally tick-warp the new Button area so he can get the Button to the level he wants before pushing the button.

There's obviously a ton of strategies to ensure that you are victorious in this new button thing. I propose pranking both Grian and Scar into oblivion because of the tunnel bore, then when they ask for a price to stop, it should be to form a 3 man group to maintain a monopoly on the button. You get each crown first of course 👌

Also, just a note to you Doc, be careful about how you interpret people emailing you about the telegram comments. It could also be the scammers trying to guilt you into giving them something thinking that they're a legitimate fan that got scammed. That's probably not the case, but it's a common manipulation tactic to scam someone from one direction, then come running from the other direction to "save them" from the scam. :(

as for the scams the way they normally try to scam you is to get you to pay for "shipping" and then they never send anything keeping your money. But some other story lines exist for these scams.
