Just to let you know, if you place sponges in the nether, they instantly dry, and you can break them very quickly using a hoe, just like you can with leaves and haybales

@@Daniel-dj7fh Their blocks don't burn, but they don't dry up from being in contact with lava, only from existing in the nether. (Which makes them have a pretty cool, endless reaction if you create deep water pool in the nether and place a sponge at the bottom.)

Basically, the were multiple clues saying point it at blue, so point both at blue. All others were eliminating clues or red herrings.

well. he had a few signs naming colors but like, only color. blue and yellow. and a sign saying that one of the sign is correct. meaning that one of the color listed had to be correct. Then one of the sign said "the view is very green" and another saying "The view is important because the view is correct" (or at least that what I understood) so the second color had to be green. so the two color were either blue and green or yellow and green. then it's just a matter of trying them out to see which one is correct. all the other signs were red earring. Or so I think. I might have miss understand though, who knows

Fun fact, I've drained a few monuments in my day, the easiest way to do it IMO, isn't boxes. It's strips. Split the whole thing up into 3 or 4 block wide strips. You can empty out the entire strip pretty easily and then you don't even need much sand cause you can re-use the last strip's wall for the next one.

All signs I used regarding Tom are... 1. Jerry doesn't like Tomatoes because they don't like their own color 2. Noone likes brown 3. The color is NOT magenta 4. Brown 5. Magenta 6. Yellow 7. White What I determined from this is that we have fours choices for Tom (brown, yellow, white and magenta). Its not brown and magenta so we remove those. Now here is where funky logic comes in.Tom is a tomato because their names are similar meaning he doesn't like his own color. His own color is actually white, because he is a ghast. Meaning the color has to be yellow. The rest of the signs either talk about Jerry (the window signs), are nonsense, and talk about which Tom and which is Jerry (I'm guessing he didn't specify which is Tom vs Jerry, so he had to put clues about which mob is Tom cs Jerry. Jerry likes water, Tom doesn't like water exct.. The fact that Jerry doesn't like someone for not liking their own color, means he likes his own color (greenish blue) (we agree he is green).

There’s a whole science behind. If you combine some books and don’t combine some and do some in specific orders you can get the xp really low

The way it is done is by always having the same number of enchantments on everythin you combine, the tool itself counting as 1 more. You also shouldn't use books that you combined to obtain a higher value on a single enchantment (example: avoid combining 2 sharpness 4 books to obtain a 5) if you plan to optimize. All this also allows more enchantments on one single item. Might want to double check the details, i think this is right but it's been a while.

The best way to make a combination lock proof from brute force imo it's to just add a couple more variables, making exponentially more difficult to guess.

Ilmango got a much more efficient way for draining these temples. You can use extenders for the sand so you don't need to rebuild it every 12 Blocks

Could you make a piston machine that after one piston pushes twelve blocks accross the edge, an observer activates twelve other pistones to push all the sand forward automatically. making a full 12x12 sand box by just placing sand in one location (obviously make a smaller grid if you don't have enough sand).

Ilmango has a machine design for fully filling in with sand- however, tbh, when making a guardian farm and not keeping the temple structure, it's so much easier and faster to just use flying machines to clear out the water

I only used Elytra once in my time playing Minecraft and it was because I logged into my nephews world and he gave me an elytra. I flew around for a bit. My elytra broke, I fell to my death and couldn't recover my items.

Me watching this after draining my monument the hard way: Wish I had that redstone gadget back then... Also painfully watching Iskall draining this thing in all daylight hours and realizing that no one allows the night to pass... because the one thing I at least did learn while draining mine is that guardians can't see as well to target you at night...

Did anyone notice in Impulse's video that the redstone torches were already in the correct position? Impulse had to move one of them to get the egg to fall in place because the piston that breaks the egg was extended preventing it from falling behind the glass.

As someone who just spent 2 1/2 months draining an ocean monument and the area around it for a megabuild.... good luck Iskall - you have a long & sandy road ahead! Protip: Use kelp in the center of your squre and place the sponges on the kelp inside the sand areas you make to maximize the area they effect - they you can do 5x5 in one sponge!

I am digging sand out of an entire desert in my long term survival world. A mini project I've given myself. Yeah well, such massive tasks can be called mini if your world is gonna be long term. And I've decided to use only stone/wooden shovels for the task. When I feel like I wanna grind some day but idk what to do, I just go there and dig. Now, I'll be watching Iskall's stream on Saturday and digging along with him! It's been a while since I watched his streams. I used to love VH, but now I'm feeling burnt out from modded MC. Can I add he has 4,000 + days under his belt and his Villagers are just hanging out up in the mountains without Iskall taking advantage of them? But I respect Iskall more because he and Etho is giving me them chilled and relaxed vibes and I like it!
