I love everything you unboxed! The loafers are AHHHmazing! I love both, my hubby loves the so black, honestly I think you may get the most wear out of the more casual pair. I personally LOVE them, with the softer sole and more relaxed look overall, I feel like you will reach for them regularly. Love the tarte plate as well!

Long time no talk! Funny you bought tobacco honey coz I smelt it on one of my gym coaches last week and got obsessed with it since then. The chemistry on on his darker skin did just smell like perfection: It was very reminiscent of those Indian Nag Champa frankincense to me. Can’t wait to try it on myself. If you like sweet/ oud based fragrances, I can’t recommend you more to give a sniff at Van Cleef’s oud blanc from their collection extraordinaire: it is a very rich yet not overpowering but clean/ fresh fragrance. I discovered it last year and it has become one of my favorite wintery scents that I like to rotate with ambre narguilé, musc ravageur, eau noire and mûre et musc. Congratulations on your Hermès haul: the denim shirt looks very modern on you and the plate is just ❤!

Thanks for the loafer recommendation. I live in the US where this style isn’t available now in all black but happen to be in Dubai and picked up at pair at the boutique here. I travel a lot so lightweight comfortable shoes that are easy to pack are essential and I like rubber soles which are also more comfortable for long days/airport walking and easy to keep clean! Great recommendation and love these videos!

I did find the short sleeves version of the cashmere sweater to be cropped when I had tried it on last year but do love it with the long sleeves. It would be nice if we don’t get hit with a price increase each season for the same item, just in a different color. 😅

Also, Vogue did a KZread video last month walking through Hermès and introduced the whole process of making bags as well as a few artisans.

Not sure if you looked into the ICONE loafer, but it seems similar to the one you're hunting except it is with the kelly lock (vs. H bucklet). It also comes in the so black *chef's kiss*

It’s funny to hear you say, “right up my alley” because we also say this in Canada. Some of the Content Creators I follow from the UK say, “right up my street”. Just an observation. On a different note, it seems almost impossible to buy shoes or loafers from Hermes on-line. There is just no consistency with sizing. It makes it difficult for people like me with no Hermes store in sight.

What an interesting observation 🙌 It can indeed be quite annoying. The only soliution is to order a couple sizes at a time, but then you have to deal with the headache of returning things 🫣

i would not waste your money on "fashion" shoes. if you want the best, buy your shoes from the northampton english shoe makers. sure they aren't as chunky, and don't have the hype and brand plastered all over them, but that is a good thing.
