Hey man! My thoughts are any motor swap is a lot of work, and a lot of parts! The k swap is pretty straight forward but still a ton that goes into it, I would say if you are happy with the power of the 325i then stick with it, another good option is a turbo kit for the m20, or finally a pretty simple swap is the 24v from the e36 328i any of these are great options! I swapped in the k series because the m42 didn't have any turbo options

I reupholstered the seats myself using a kit from lseat.com they were super easy, I have a video on the channel! And I've been keeping track of everything that I have spent, it's for sure not a cheap swap but I don't think many engine swaps are really cheap😬 I'll try to get a video out about the cost!

Could you do me a favour, to ship kit for swap k engine in BMW e30

I’d do a k24 swap but I just can’t get onboard with an engine that sounds like a trumpet. If I could do a high flow cat with mufflers to keep the very noise quiet I’d do it

Yeah I never liked Hondas because of the sound, but it was always because the cars were either straight piped or fender dumped which sounds like garbage😂 I welded up my exhaust and had a resonator and a muffler and if it's too loud I'm switching to a cat to quiet it down!

We will see how it actually drives, but in terms of maintenance and not having any chassis modifications it's an awesome swap!

I'm doing exactly the same thing brother I might upload a video or two about it, I'l make sure tho give you some credit lol bc I'm learning from your vids too, hope we can link up once both cars are running, right now I'm just waiting on a ECU

I have an RSX ecu that I've read it will work, but on the long run you need to get an hondata

Sorry if i missed, it but what diff gear ratio are you going to use? are you planning on keeping it the same for when you go turbo?

I have 4.10 gears LSD in a small case diff, I have no idea how it's going to feel with the car since I'm changing the transmission too, I will be looking for a medium case that will be able to handle the torque, ideally I would like 3.73 lsd that will handle the power for the turbo but still give good response

What about a coding plug for the dash? I know it was needed for my S52 swap.

From what I've seen it's the coding plug for the 318is m42 which is the chassis that I have, if not that will be an easy fix!

I don't believe this swap can be done with a manual, so you would have to convert it, which needs the clutch foot pedal assembly, the manual transmission, the clutch line, it's not too difficult especially when pulling the engine

My original plan was to LS swap, it's the easiest way to make power! They are great engines I just felt like the k made sense for the e30 to keep it super light, I'll probably do an LS on my e36 that swap makes perfect sense! The k swap has definitely been a huge trend!

@@robc1014 affordability is really the big one! They made so many of both! Ive always wanted a JZ but it's hard to justify a $5k motor😬 I definitely like the idea of both! They make a ton of sense!
