It is less a question of an organization with no young talent than it is an organization with no ability to develop young talent. Almost EVERYONE we trade away blossoms with their new team.

You realize just how weak the Cardinals starting rotation is when you compare it to the Phillies. The best Cardinals starter, Sonny Gray would be a number 3 or 4 guy in the Philadelphia rotation. Anyone who believes the Cardinals are anything close to a contender is delusional.

But Carp fixed the clubhouse for Nado & Goldy! The organization has broken Walker. I mean, he’s in the organization and comes up, starts his career with a hitting streak but they sent him back to get more “LIFT”. Why weren’t they working on his technique BEFORE? They should’ve traded Nado at the TD last year, gotten Walker or Gorman to their natural position, then get a RF who can hit and play defense.

The Cardinals organization is stuck in nostalgia. Not that I mind since I'm not a fan and any time the cards suffer it makes me smile, but it's still sad. When they brought back Pujols and cards fans legit thought they'd go to the WS, I just had to laugh. Again and again I find more evidence for my hypothesis that the casual cards fan just assumes the cards go to the postseason every year. Very few cards fans are honest with themselves when their team is in trouble. My mom is a cardinals fan, and she loves the good ol days, and even she can see they need change.

And you guys talking about acquiring Aaron Judge is absolutely ridiculous. The guy is 32 years old. He’s already on the downside and you guys are thinking that’s a solution. You’re just as bad as the Cardinals leadership. What people need to start getting back to are our roots. Draft strategy and player development, period. What this organization used to be excellent at, which ultimately led to championships, involved identifying high-quality players with great upside. Then, developing them all the way through before they trade them away for big names. That does not work. Youth development works. Got it!?

Let’s see; worst defense in MLB by far. Leading MLB in errors by far is a thing. Last night was a microcosm of our year and hopefully not a harbinger of what is to come: Donovan/Goldenado/Carpenter 2-19. They continue to be an anchor to the offense. Crucial errors and they can’t get depth in the bullpen. Well said Joe. I’m getting “here we go again vibes.” Hopefully they can get going, but I feel like I’m living last season again. Agent of the year is the guy who got Middleton $5 M. 🙄. Losing sucks. Bigly. All we can do is 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dint understand the shade Cole gets. He’s fine. I enjoy his takes. Heaney has a WS ring. His performance in Texas’s victory was crucial.
