Anti-immigration, anti-LGBTQ, anti-Europe … far-right parties are on the rise in many countries in Europe - and in some, they are bringing their policies to power. From Finland to Italy, to Austria to France, multiple far-right parties are enjoying unprecedented levels of support and acceptance - even though many of them have roots in neo-Nazi movements. Does this frighten young people - or do they support these parties?! In Italy, despite a major social media campaign designed to hook in young people, Gen Z pretty much rejects Giorgia Meloni’s Brothers in Italy. But in Sweden, Gen Z actually voted more for the far-right than older age groups. We questioned experts, young people and journalists to find out why.
