In my personal experience, you don't buy an evo for anything but the driving experience and the badass looks you get.

Fun fact; Canadian 2015 MR Evo's have the Recaro seats. They were removed from US models due to some safety standards and the air bags. Up north here we got all the toys still :)

You forgot to point out the fancy trunk hinges that don't crush your cargo. That's rare, especially in this class.

Sorry you are wrong about the engine off delay. Its for the gearbox to go to a reset mode... as stated in the owners manual :p

sad to see them discontinued... but at least Subaru still has their models going, and the AWD Focus RS is coming next year. Mitsubishi will see what poor choice they made when they see Subaru and Ford sales surpass theirs within the next several years. Though as much as I love the Evo's, they are way over priced... Id rather get a 2016 WRX for about 10k less.

+Evan Johnson Ya... it was a poor choice. They had plenty of room for improvements when it came to the Evo X. Now all the Evo owners today who decide to dump their high mileage car in the future for a newer one will turn to Subaru and Ford for something better. As im sure its happening now or will happen once the RS comes out.

My thoughts exactly man, which is why i'm saving up for a gsr i'm getting from a buddy of mine. Great to own some piece of mitsubishi history once (if) they die down in the U.S

I have a 2010 Lancer GTS and I would like to get a Ralliart before the current Lancer is out of production. The Evo is a little too pricey for me, but you can get the Ralliart for $26,000 in Southern California. Of course its not an Evo, but the suspension is still pretty capable, the single scroll turbo is fast enough for me and the ride is a little more forgiving in day to day driving.

The Mitsubishi Lancer will continúe on production, Mitsubishi Confirm that they are currently working on next gen Lancer! To hit dealers between a year or two. In the other hand the Evo is Going away this year, honestly not sure about the Future of the Lancer Ralliart, so thats what I know so Far

+Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Fan They're discontinuing the Ralliart after 2015. The 2016 model will have neither the Evo or the Ralliart (just read about i). Those dumb bastards at Mitsu - lol. By all means kill the two models that are the only reason to even look at a Lancer. Guess if I want a Ralliart I better get moving.

+Jeff Morse right the Evo and Ralliart End Production this year so if you want a New Ralliart you have to move fast, Im looking to get a used Evo X in the near future, my current car is a 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse.. I love Mitsubishi just hope to see a new hight performance car from them soon.

Good review:),sucks the evo is going but mitsubushi did say there working on a replacement that is most likely going to be a hybrid turbo kinda thing.was surprised they pulled the bucket surprised umn,,,,,#EMDNATION

I had this car for less than a year. It was everything but the car insurance was way too much. Im over thirty and I dont know how I see youger guys able to afford this car.

I was thinking about buying a 98-99 toyota supra and throwing in it a few dollars like: nice complete exhaust sistem, air filter, 1 or twin turbo, brembo brakes, coilovers, nice intercooler, needs to have the recaro seats, rims and a few things more. Want the car to push over 400+ but less than 500-. Ive been seen the evo x but the MR got my eye, if i get the MR i dont have to put to much money for mods cuz the car already has it maybe i few thing more but not much. Any advice from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks!

Cannot stand the chrome finishes inside. Cheap, Cheap, Cheap... But 40k!!!! NO. We really need a econo sporty car that is simple fun, and without power options. Something the spirit of the late 80's hot hatches. Under 16k and fast and fun!

300 thousand dollars? A Bentley does not cost that much. A Mitsu for 40k is like throwing money into a fire. It will lose half it's value in 2 months.

Why no more Recaro seats? Cut cost?

+Gilberto Contreras Ya, they are still making the Ralliart I believe, but don't hold me to that. And they are supposed to upgrade the looks of the Lancers for next year, but again this is Mitsubishi were talking about. I have a '14 Ralliart, fun car to drive just wish it came out of the box a little more hp and better interior!

Too bad that Mitsubishi will not produce the EVO anymore 😢

King Jack​ Japanese engerineeing is supposed to be good yet they can't get good mileage on a popular sports car. The Challenger/ Charger SRTs have better mileage and have more HP, wow.

With today's technology i will take an advanced dual clutch automatic over a manual any day! And ive been driving manual all my life. Last 3 cars have been turbo manual. My next buy will be auto, im so over shifting with high staged clutches

Just buy a used one. Literally no reason to get a new one any more, which might have been Mitsubishis plan the whole time for this last year.
