All of George’s music was , is as good as anything the Beatles did as a whole.

This was the beginning of George’s golden period when the group were drifting apart and George saw the opening for him to push for recognition. What a wonderful talent. What a beautiful song. Amazing acoustic guitar.

George, my favorite Beatle. Who, in my opinion, outshined them all on many levels. It's quite a crime that he was suppressed quite frequently. George was so talented, yet very humble. This song is timeless, and one of many favorites.

This is one of George's most beloved songs that is relatable and timeless.

There's so little left to say about the "Beatles". How four working class lads from Liverpool got together and just coincidentally turn out to be four musical geniuses(yes I include Ringo in that) will forever gobsmack me. All John wanted was a "rock and roll band" and he got so much more and changed music forever.

This is one of the best songs - THIS version - I have ever heard in my 67 trips around the sun.

It is the most listened to Beatles song on Spotify, and has almost twice as many listens as the runner-up, Yesterday.

I remember waiting for the school bus for second grade in 1972 listening to this song. 57 now and it never gets old.

If I am in a foul mood, this song is sure to cheer me up.

Is a simple song but is really beautifull. Only George can sing this song.

I met George once in a quiet little pub only I didn’t know it was him. He was down to earth, we were talking about trout fishing, just two guys leaning on a bar. I hope he caught a good trout in the place I sent him. 🙂

Really cool, what's also cooler to me is that it sounds pretty much exactly like the live version of the song. Like all the Beatles he was a pro through and through.

The face of a genius

This song especially highlights George's talented guitar playing & composing. Seeming a simple ditty by lyrics, it's a masterpiece of music.

under rated. a pure talent overshadowed by Lennon and McCartney. Sad there wasn't more room in a four man band for him to step forward and take his own place. There was so much talent pouring forth from Paul that George just couldn't take a step forward and shine.

Sadly only 1 or 2 songs for George to have in a Beatles album while the rest were all John and Paul because John and Paul feel that they're more important and more smarter than George and Ringo that they deserved all the recognition for all the great Beatles songs over the years

I was about 13 when I bought this album and I put it on one night and fell asleep and all night every dream I could remember had this song in it and when I woke up I has forgotten to move the arm over so this album played over and over again and when I woke up it was just starting again lol

Many years ago, I played this song with my friends on the stage, and that is still the one of the most impressive moments in my life. Thank you, George.

His voice really was the secret weapon. A minority of songs sung by him, but every time they come up, I’m like, “Yes! It’s George!” And I like the harmonies on George’s song because it’s John and Paul participating in, nay, submitting to his side of the genius.

An absolute master!!

This song was played over the student union film I saw at Warwick University when I was visiting aged 17 prior to A levels in 1972. It’s the reason I ent to Warwick to study mathematics. !!
