great suggestions, personally my top 3 are Waze, Spotify and audible.

I don’t know about other radios but in my 2022 Silverado I wish I could access the fm radio within CarPlay over going to the gm interface to do it. I can use the radio in CarPlay but if I want to change station I have to let it change it and then go back

@@zerocool1722 Ford 12 inch is the worst since it's just a small Window on the screen, or his Jeep Cherokee would be a 7/10, new tundra and sequoia, kia telluride are top tier. Pretty much any car that has carplay as full screen, like it was intended and has been for many years. It's the intentional making carplay smaller and smaller on larger and larger screens that is running rampant seemingly only to push monthly subscriptions

And what does monthly subscriptions have to do with a full screen display for CarPlay??? It’s not like you have to pay monthly to use the actual full screen, lol.

Question, my CarPlay appears to be working, but it always has "not playing" box with is for Apple Music. I never use that and would want something else in that home page spot.

I’m looking forward to more food ordering and gas station apps. Love the convenience of the Dunkin’ app, luckily ours is decent in the Philly Area lol. Happy New Year!

How can I get Panera to show in my CarPlay list?

I noticed in the beginning of this video, you have an Apple MagSafe charger for your car. I was wondering if there was a link for the holder for the MagSafe puck charger.

How can i use KZread in carplay?

I always have Wayze running in the background and use Apple Maps. Wayze will still warn you if there are speed traps.

Apple should allow us to use streaming services on CarPlay since their gonna update CarPlay soon this would be a great idea if CarPlay knows that we’re in (P) Parked we should be allowed to watch stuff on the screen CarPlay has so much more potential so I’d like to see one year just dedicated to CarPlay updates

I wonder if the Brave CarPlay player sends the complete video/audio data stream to play the audio only, which would be terrible for limited data plans.

I don't know about Brave, but I have unlimited data with att and sometime stream KZread music directly to the streaming app in my Kia Forte and can even control KZread's skip forward function. I just don't look at the screen since I am driving, of course.

With the low cost of unlimited data plans now, there is no reason to have a limited data plan unless you are dead broke.

You just add the app to your phone and if it's Carplay compatible, it will pop up in your car when using Carplay.

A fuel app directing to nearest non ethanol stations is much desired.

Being an EV driver I can’t live without A Better Route Planner. It even connects with the car so it knows your range and plans your journey with charging stops. Something Apple Maps could have developed.

They really need to let you add the weather App, would be nice if you are driving and knowing when its going to start raining, if you need to get off the road for a tornado ,, etc…,, you can order donuts but you cant look at the weather… 😂

I have an electric car and I’ve never found a really good app to locate rapid charging stations. Let me know if you find one.

The apps need to support CarPlay then when you add them to your phone, they’ll show on CarPlay too. You can turn them off and change the order in Settings > General > CarPlay

I just want Apple Maps to display my current speed.

Weatherology is really good!

They're just slowly unlocking basic features that should have been there from the start. Apple has been doing this for years.

Google maps and Waze merged this year 2023.

The MLB app is horrible. For me to use it I almost always have to open the app on my phone. What’s the point of the app if I still have to open the app on my phone. Plus… it would be nice if they showed the score and inning on the screen.

🤣🤣🤣 It hurts my stomach! I never have bad luck at Starbucks but Dunkin just don't sit well with me! Not to mention their donuts aren't made there and always seem to be stale... but I know lots of people love them!
