I adopted the mother of a litter of puppies. The volunteers told me I was the only one to even ask if she’s adoptable. Of course I went home with her!

Thank you for rescuing Brisbane when no one else did !! She's such a sweet dog and never forget your senior dog she may not be able to pick up every trick but shes a loyal mellow dog that loves her mom and dad so show her massive amounts of love ! She wont be around forever .so cherish the little time she's got left in this world b4 she crosses the rainbow bridge!

That dog really loves you! You can see happiness in her eyes, as if she was saying “finally a friend for me.” Thank you for rescuing her. I am sure she appreciates it too!

That could not be more adorable. You two are the perfect team! Clearly she found just the right person to give her what she needs and her best life.

Brisbane didn’t need to be told that she was loved and wanted. The family showed her and in time, she knew. Great video.

Love this but please don't neglect your other, older dog....she's a loyal companion, too. They are both sweethearts.💕

Still do not forget our old dog, in every second. It must be terrible, seeing the time and effort and enthusiasm you spend on the other dog, which can do things he can't. Kibbles is old and loyal, and may not be set in a constellation where she feels 5th wheel. Every pic and every word tells that she must feel recessed...

Both doggy’s are soooooo cute, I love that cute frosty snout on Kibbles and Brissy’s floppy ears!

It breaks my heart when puppies are adopted and the mamas are left behind in the shelter. Brisbane is amazing in what she can do and the joy she brings. (But older dogs like Kibble are really my favorites and deserve lots of love and respect for who they are as well).💕🐶☮️

All animals are beautiful, the only trouble is they have to share a planet 🌏 with humans.

This woman is so cool. They deserve each other. ❤️

She looks like a red heeler, which means she's got some dingo ancestry as well as herding breed ancestry. The dingo ancestry is what gives the robust face.

I honestly wonder if there's Australian Shepard or border collie genes. I'm not an expert or something, but I feel like Brissy's ability to pick up tricks quickly and her high-energy are traits closely associated with those breeds.

I think a lot of pet owners would love to be able to talk to their pets. We would want to know about their lives, where they lived how they were treated and also what they did that day! Brissy is a beautiful dog and just reflects the time and love that you have lavished on her.

This is exactly what happened to my dog Tula. It's hard to adopt out mother dogs, but they are so wonderful. Tula even looks like Brissy. I am so blessed to have my Tula that there are no words to express it.

What a wonderful story. I have been so saddened recently with stories of 4000 beagles who were being used for experiments, 150 dogs living in the desert another 100 living with hoarders. Dogs are so abused, invaded for (see many videos of dogs grossly infected with ticks, some kind of obnoxious worms) and still they are gentle, loving,kind, working for good. Thank you for this story.
