Dog Reunited With Foster Mom For The First Time Since Her Adoption | The Dodo Reunited
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
This Dog's About To See Her Foster Mom For The First Time Since She Was Adopted | After foster failing twice, this woman ended up with two amazing dogs - and she felt ready to foster a pair of pittie puppies. She fell head over heels for Luna, the tiniest, snuggliest puppy she'd ever seen, but eventually she found her the perfect forever family. Today on Reunited, it's been six months since Luna was adopted, and her foster mom is dying to kiss her again. If you’re interested in adopting or fostering a puppy like Luna, check out @Fur Friends in Need ( / ): thedo.do/furfriendsinneed.

I'm the same way but I want to foster anyway. it will be incredibly hard to give them up, but the thought of the dogs I could be caring for being euthanaised because there is not enough homes is hard as well

@@bluemac9476 Ditto. I could only foster for keeps. Bless you Katie. I refuse to live with cats and dogs (when living urban) because I would go so far as to lose my job over them, if thats what it took to care for them. Can't afford that. After millennia of mistreatment, its nice that we now (are starting to) treat cat and dog minority populations like royalty.

To all who say they could never foster because you would get too attached to let them go. Getting attached is so much better than them being killed because no one would foster them. Think of it like having children. You get 100% attached to your children. Then they leave the nest and start their own lives. You adjust. You do not decide not to have children because it will hurt to much when they leave home. 10 million dogs are dying in shelters every year. Not fostering is killing dogs, period.

I was able to take my dogs and cats in the office when necessary (sick or needed to be watched). It was a small company but I worked for the same man for 33 years before he retired. There are some extra special employers that allow for kids and pets when they need it. But the problem is that you have to be extra special too. : )

A dog's eye sight isn't the greatest, yet their sense of smell is incredible. To a dog every human has their own scent and they will never forget you as they will never forget your scent. They may not recognize you at first but as soon as they smell you they know. A very touching story and kudos to all those involved.

Such a wonderful thing to see all these babies meeting their foster families again. Everyone from A-Z who love these fur babies are hero's in my book.❤❤😇😇
Nice to see some puppies that were able to grow up without ever experiencing abuse. 👍☮️
Please God bless these wonderful people who TRULY help and care for these innocent darlings. May they always have what they need to continue saving lives. Amen
Being a foster mom is the most rewarding and selfless thing anyone can do for shelter animals. It gets them out of the shelter environment, gets them socialized and let them know what love is. It always makes me a little sad when I have to give up my foster babies but I know I am doing the best for them. Like they say at the shelter... "When you foster one you are saving many." What space that foster had a the shelter will save the shelter from having to euthanize for space. I encourage everyone to try fostering at least once. Your local shelter would thank you!
oh...my heart..my HEART is pounding with pure, genuine JOY...This sweet story actually made me sob, & resonates & "vibrates" through my entire soul...I know what it's like when you become a foster "failure," & you must eventually come to the realization that it's simply not possible to keep EVERY single dog or cat you've nurtured & loved from the very beginning upon their arrival at your door...This year (already) I've had to say emotional "good-bye's" to a sweet little baby Chiweenie who followed me EVERYWHERE, the most loving & affectionate tiny Pitbull puppy who arrived reminding me of a little, warm "baked potato," he was SO tiny & the litter's runt, & now I currently have two ADORABLE, sweet & NAUGHTY tiny Min Pin sisters who are growing SO fast, & you can't take your eyes off of them for a second as they're so energetic & playful, & will get into, onto, underneath & inside EVERYTHING they see & can play with or chew on...HaHaHa...You cry & grieve their losses, but are comforted knowing they've found a wonderful "forever home" & will continue to be loved & nurtured...Then the phone always rings AGAIN with ANOTHER heartbreaking story & need for yet another rescued animal needing a temporary home, & the cycle starts all over again...& again...& again...God bless those who adopt rescued dogs they go on to love & cherish with their entire hearts...
