Took me 25 years to catch a fish like that, well done Eve!! I love seeing how close you and your family are, it's a joy to see you inspiring such a love of nature in the next generation now too!

Love the name Eve you can't beat the classics and my goodness she looks like her Grandad (around the eyes) all you need now is a felt moustache. :)

Ah bless her, so pleased to "meet" your little Eve. She was born pretty much a year to the day after I lost my mum at 92, she was also a little Eve (Evelyn) so I was delighted to hear you also pronounce her name "Eve-lyn" which just sounds right to my ear, not Ev-a-lyn or Ev-lyn. Love her heart she's definitely caught your family bug hasn't she?! The fish seem to like her too don't they? The look on Graeme's face when everything she caught was huge was a delight to see...both of you trying desperately not to shout "don't wind!" "wind!" was hilarious. Off you trot, go catch another one. 😂😄👍

I don't know about there in England, but here in the USA we have fishing rods for kids!! They are much smaller than that one, but if she's able to handle that one, then she's starting off good!!! What a beautiful day for you all!!! ❤️

Great vid, so important to preserve the future of angling. She was not afraid of the worms or maggots and I loved how she returned the chub.

Crazy to think she's so big already. I'm sure you've felt that dichotomy between time moving slow as a snail and then blinking and a week goes by, but i remember your first post before she arrived and it doesn't feel that long ago. To be fair, I've got one a little older, so i experience that time paradox as well, just thinking about what a wild ride it's been!

I did not have a creek, a lake or a stream anywhere close by to teach my kids to fish. So what I used was a rubber weight teach them to cast. And in just a few months later my youngest won as the youngest winner in the tournament.

Does anyone the right hand side of of reel . I'm right-handed and it's impossible for me to use the left-handed side of the. I still managed to cast okay but I never see right-handed people using the right-handed side of. Am I doing something wrong what does it come down to the individual and what's best...
