The Cdp vs Sapkowski case that you probably have on mind wasn't a simple matter like most people speculate. Noone knows the details hidden in many contracts one side had with another except the sides themselves and their lawyers. One thing is certain.. Sapkowski is no dummy. He was acting within the boundaries of Polish law and from what i know both sides were more or less content with the agreement they reached. I can respect his resourcefulness although I wouldn't have a beer with him since I take him for a pompous narcissist prick but to be honest i dont care about that as far as he creates outstanding prose.

Please be aware that some people learn by different methods which aren't text based. In fact, there are several different learning methods (visual, kinesthetic, aural), and this is why a lot of people struggle to read and get left behind in school, because education establishment uses the text method for about 90% of its curriculum. It's not becasue they are stupid, but it's like asking a fish, an elephant, and a monkey to climb a tree. The elephant and fish aren't stupid, the circumstances are just unfair for their needs. Books aren't the only pathway to knowledge.

@@Syklonus I'm aware and also curious you want to open this topic here (I guess this is getting constant views though), even beyond the learning methods variety, there are individuals with different capabilities ( hearing or visually impaired for instance) and education reforms should include them as well. Now, as a mexican girl, I can tell you all of these changes could not be further away from coming true in some countries and are only one of the reasons for both economic and social decline here. Still, it's like expecting the same aesthethic from every artist or forcing the same model for entrepeneurial ventures... Which I get is highly unfair but from where I'm standing reading should always be encouraged - not forced- and books are in fact plenty people's favorite path to either learning or joy (from where my comment is coming to be clear). PS: Thank you for your reply, let's hope it gets many to think about this whole situation.

The Audible audiobook is way worse narrated and somehow missing parts.

Damn, if Henry ever decided to take a break from acting, he'd have a ready-made gig doing audio books. The guy's a natural.

Probably the only one on the team who actually read the book.

Also how did DC manage to under utilize this actor? He got charm ozing out of him in spades!!!

@@haagenneldeberg6787 seems like all of you hated MOS which, to each their own i guess because as flawed as the movie was, i loved it. It was a new take of his character to make him relatable and appeal to a new generation of audience. I didn't like it at first watch as well, i was so used to that bright, always smiling superman. But i thought I'd give it another try and erased the previous ideas i had of what 'superman' should be and found that this kal-el of krypton was cool

Everytime he looked up I felt personally attacked.

He is a delight and needs to make these in audio. His cadence and inflection are perfect. He is such a likable actor and genuine fan of the fantasy genre. It is refreshing.

@@MakerInMotion If I remember correctly he had to slim down a bit. In an interview when Mission Impossible Fallout was released he said Tom Cruise changed his view on how to train. As Superman he had to look buff, but as a secret agent in MI:6 or in this case a witcher he had to seriously improve his agility, speed and core muscles.

No wonder I can't hear a word he's saying, he reads like he's flirting...with me... specifically.

Mister Ious GOT also only screwed up when they started deviating from the book, and then even more when they caught up with the books and had to start making shit up. The show has one thing got didnt have, a clear and finished book series, lets hope they can adapt it without pulling a GOT

Fathur Masaru hopefully that will happen. Henry has put a lot of effort and love in his performance, same as Superman. But, the problem with superman was the screen play and of course, the movie it self. The effects, the scenes, the logic, etc. Netflix rarely make that mistakes. Finger cross

Okay, HC is skilled at acting, but is also a regular bloke, sweet, quite good sense of humour, much like the rest of us, the book reading was well done, but don't read too much into HC. In my opinion HC personally is uncomplicated, loves having fun, is rather joyful, is happy as he goes, enjoys acting and doing the best he can for each role without taking himself too seriously. I look forward to seeing him perform in more of the Witcher series. I never noticed him until he played the role of Geralt and had long white hair and had this rock star vibe going on. HC is lovable, Geraldt is unearthly manly and he provides a strong safe persona for fans of the series to traverse the Witcher Universe on.

@@ememembalism11 He fixes this (after the first two short story books I believe) Once they dive into the main series it is pronounced correctly. If you haven't kept going you absolutely should! It's well worth it

It started out so promising. If only writers of the show could have done the same as Henry - reading the books that is.

After seeing this series I can definitely say no one can play witcher better then Henry Cavill
