If I ever had an opportunity where money wasn't an issue, I'd have a HUUUUUGE wardrobe of fencing jackets of different styles and colors; not to mention EVERY blade imaginable in the synthetic, metal trainer, and sharp versions- sometimes there'd be more of one kind in all categories, too.

Hi, I wanted to ask about mobility in this jacket :)

SF pluderhosen are great and now this jacket come out ....there are gonna be some fancy fencers out there. Wondering about the padding in the chest area. Is the jacket lined with foam or is it thick quilted material? Can it hold up to a thrust without the fencer feeling the impact too badly?

Feels quilted, and double layered. Much meatier protection than my AP/AP Light jackets. I think the frontal protection is very good.

There are foam pads that go in pockets in the inside. 'bout .25 to .5 in thick.

Awesome. How are they doing with sleeve rotation? At my club we have some of their very early jackets that lacked forward rotation of the sleeves.

How was delivery and communication? I am interested in buying the jacket and pluderhosen, but I am unsure if things will go smoothly in the delivery and customization process, considering they are based in Pakistan.

I don't think going down a size is going to move the flaps up 4". It may be just the design?

Just got the Red Dragon Amoury Heavy Sparring Jacket. How does yours compare on padding?

Generally welcomed. There's too much basic black gear around. Brightly coloured fancy fighting gear was the norm until the late 19th century. Can't have too much stylee 😆

The majority of clubs welcome flashy kit like this, only a small minority maintain strict uniform standards. And I'd say the move is very much towards them being more welcome.

When I joined my club everything was black and sad so I was dead set on getting something with colour. When my kit arrived (in two toned blue) everyone loved it (even the puffy pluderhosen). We have multiple fighters with coloured kit now and it's great to see people able to be somewhat unique.
