Heavy CONDITIONING Circuit. Deadlift + Kettlebell + Burpee.

Here is the Heavy Conditioning Circuit:
5 deadlifts
5 squat and press (thrusters?)
10 6 count burpees
Repeat for 10 rounds.
I used 225 lbs for the deadlifts and 2 26 lb kettlebells for the squat and press.
As you can do with every workout on the channel, you can modify the weight, or the exercises to meet your own fitness level.
Regardless of what workout you do, or what exercises you choose to complete, just be sure to work hard.

    Respect! That kind of volume w/ 225 on the dead is no easy feat! Which the lake of sweat you created shows. Recommend adding a set of rows w/ the kb's after the squat presses.

    That would round it out nicely👍. And yeah man, the sweat was rolling big time. The 6 counts felt like navy seals over the last 5 rounds!

    That's a killer combo for sure. Like Natty said, 225 is nothing to sneeze at for the deadlifts! 50 reps for that weight over the 10 rounds is solid barbell volume, and the thrusters plus burpees thrown in really round out the routine. Nice variety of hybrid training here David. Big salute! 💪🔥🇨🇦

    Thanks Justin man. The deadlift weight was right at the max amount for me right now. I don’t do it enough to have any real progression with the weight. I realized after that Tone did 10 thrusters too😬, whereas I only did 5 per round. So I guess I owe him 50 reps somewhere along the way haha. But in the end, it was hard work and that why we do this stuff hey brother👊.

    Ahh thanks Rob man. Adding the weights into the burpee training is such a game changer. I’m guessing it’s a little similar to your strong man Saturday stuff. Lifting heavy stuff just drives the heart rate through the roof!! I’m pretty new/unfamiliar with lifting. If you ever see me do anything that looks sketchy, please let me know brother👊.

    My shoulder has been causing me discomfort from all the burpees and so inspired by all your exercise variations and @Kboges I’ve begun doing sets of pushups, pull-ups, squats/lunges instead. For cardio similar to burpees I’m doing mountain climbers. I’m hoping this combination will give me a similar workout to burpees. It was a tough decision to make as I’ve put a lot of work in to burpees training and they’ve transformed my physique but even after a few days my shoulder if feeling better and I guess exercise is exercise and you’ve got to listen to your body.

  • @DavidWhitten

    @DavidWhitten

    I think it’s a smart move Jay man. The different exercises you are working into your training will allow the muscles primarily used in burpees to recover. Then when you do work the burpees back in, hopefully you’ll feel fresh👍. And again, as long as you are working hard, the movements you’ve mentioned will continue to bring the transformation, just like the burpees have done thus far.
