No sinners prayer found in the Bible. The sinners prayer is about two hundred years old now. It is truly man made. The Apostle Peter in Acts 2:38 says to repeat and be baptized for the remission of your sins. Gal.3:21 says as we are baptized into Christ we put on Christ.

Our Lord said, "Amen, Amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send, receives Me and whoever receives Me receives the One who sent Me (John 13:20; Matt 10:40) and "Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you rejects Me and rejects the One who sent Me (Luke 10:16)". Therefore, in order for us to receive and listen to Christ Our Savior, we need to receive and listen to the one Our Lord sent and not anyone else. Who are the ones Our Lord sent to us for our salvation? They are the Apostles and their successors, the ministers of His Church built on Peter (Matt 16:18-19, 28:19-20). Through the teachings of these ministers, the dispenser of the mysteries of God (1 Cor 3:5, 4:1), we learn the True Faith revealed by Our Lord and become true believers and members of His Mystical Body (Col 1:18, 1 Cor 12:27, Eph 5:23), the Church. St. Paul said, "Remember your prelates who have spoken the word of God to you; whose Faith follow. Jesus Christ, yesterday, today, and the same forever; and, not be lead away with various and strange doctrines (Heb 13:7-9). Obey your prelates (bishops) and be subject to them; for they watch as being to render account of your souls (Heb 13:17)." Our Lord made it clear that, in order for us to be saved, we must follow the teachings of His Church (Mark 16:16), One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church with whom He and Holy Spirit remain always until the end of ages (John 14:16-17, Matt 28:20). Whoever, whom Our Lord did not send or who reject the teachings of His Church, are wolves in sheep's clothing and, therefore, shouldn't be listened to and must be avoided. He that knows God, hears us. He that is not of God, hears us not. By this we know the spirit of Truth and the spirit of error (1 John 4:6). Without the Sacraments instituted by Our Lord and administered by His Church, one can't have the Sanctifying Grace required for salvation. Therefore one must be a faithful member of the Church to be saved. Otherwise, whatever one does, for example, read Bible, pray to God, preach God, and try to do good to others, it will be no avail. Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus (outside the Church, no salvation) is a Catholic Dogma (Catechism No. 846). @@speedoggy On True Faith, Our Lord says (excerpt from Maria Valtorta's Notebooks 1943, pp.271-272): "There is only One God, One Christ, and One Faith. This True Faith, which was born with man and became perfected over the centuries by My coming upon the faith of the patriarchs and prophets. This Faith -- of which the Church is the Guardian and the repository of the treasures of the Word -- is not changeable, for it shares its Creator's attributes of immutability and perfection. Look closely. What did Faith assure the ancient fathers of? My coming, such an excelling act of Charity that it alone suffices to make people sure of a God, the Father of the human race. It gave assurance of the eternal life reserved for all those who have died in the Lord and announced eternal punishment for the transgressors against the Law of the Lord. It gave assurance of Our Triune Being and the existence of the Holy Spirit, from whom every supernatural spiritual light comes. What has ensured the Faith of Christians for the last 20 centuries? Credulity is foolish. To believe is holy because it is for one's spirit to be obedient to the Lord's mysteries. Blessed are those who do not alter their Faith. Revelation 14:12 Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of יהושע. Both Ministries not 1 without the other is dead. Revelation 20:12 we will be judge by our works. (1 John 5:3) For this is the LOVE for Elohim, that we guard/keep His COMMANDS, and His commands are not Heavy/Burdensome. Those who love me guard/keep my commands. (John 14:15,21,15:10)

@@speedoggy That is your own opinion. Jesus Our Lord is God, Incarnate Word. Why did He founded His Church and promised to be in the Church until the end of ages (Matt 28:20)? Our Lord said, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:16)." All His Words are Truth. Without the True Faith (taught by His Church), it is impossible to please God (Heb 11:6).

Every word that comes out of the mouth of Yahweh is life Matthew 4:4) Strong's concordence to ancient hebrew lexicons. Did you know the OT is 72% of the Scriptures 1% Aramaic the rest NT and NT quotes OT a bunch of times so in reality NT is only like 12% of The Entire Scriptures. Do you think that's All of scriptures 12%? (2 Timothy 3:16) All Scripture is breathed out by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness,

Jesus told Christians to pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, didn't he? God's Kingdom is a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ as King. Soon Jesus will bring beautiful changes to the earth. There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5! No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 37:9-11! After Armageddon the meek will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:29; Matthew 5:5; Proverbs 2:21,22! The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 55:11! Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth including raising those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,29! There will only be one government over the entire earth forever, Daniel 2:44! Jesus said that this good news of the Kingdom would be preached about in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come, Matthew 24:14! In order to receive everlasting life and the blessings that God has promised, we must worship the Father with spirit and truth, John 4:22-24; Isaiah 42:8; Psalms 83:18!

No brother, Don't say that St. Peter was a failure, which means Jesus and His Father chose the wrong man as the very important disciple, are you saying this? No sir. Can you say why St Peter was chosen for preaching on the day of Pentecost? he wouldn't have chosen for that duty, if he was a failure, right? St Peter was the most genuine and innocent person that he was chosen as the first disciple, you got it?
