This was a great sermon, thank you. I agree we should be voting for those who most closely resemble our biblical values. The real problem is that Americans today have little or no biblical values.

I was sacked from my job during c19 and have been from job to job ,the Lord has always been looking after me and my son . Excellent Bible study. This lesson cleared up some questions I had. Thank you, Pastor Hamrick.

Proverbs 21:5 says, “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty” (NLT). And in Proverbs 6:6-11 the writer encourages his reader to work hard with his mind on the future. All that to say, there is absolutely evidence of Scripture affirming future-mindedness

Very timely and informative sermon. I see now we are vastly approaching the end times that the world is seeking sermons like these that tell the truth, and not these worldly, worthless and meaningless sermons from the false televangelists that are on TV. The days of, “Get Ready”, and “Name it and Claim it” sermons are drying up because they are not built on anything but worldly best life now themes. Come Quickly Lord Jesus! AMEN!!🎉

Sometimes Satan does what he can for ppl so they don't cry out to God or get humbled having a possible reason to think about God...Satan doesn't care what ppl do and often leaves them alone---as long as they don't go poking around to learn about God or to change their ways....Job covers that topic, too.

A person should subject yourself to the government not submit Only submit to Jesus Christ who is ahead of the church! Wives submit to husbands Subject yourself to government but God the Bible supersedes

Goverment is very important but you are litle wrong abour Romans 13. It is not talking only about state goverment, it is also talking about church goverment. Whay would God speak about state goverment as his servants? To take this scripture only for a state goverment is wrong.

@@emaus2011 I was born and i lived in comunist country. Yes to goverment and laws which are in line with the word, but no to laws which are against Gods word. Also, when the lord was tempted, satan said to him that he has power over the kingdoms of the earth (nations) and he give's the power over them to whom he wants. And that is against teaching that Romans 13. talk only about wordly goverment. It simply speaks that it is satan who gives pover to people over nations.

If you take the time to read all about Paul, you will see the way sharing the Gospel is meant to be shared, in a loving dignified way. Jesus hit the scene reaching ppl not by only making them know they go to hell if they dont repent. He fellowshipped with them, showed love and respect. He took the time to understand what they were going through. He used dignity, love, respect and being an example of behavior that made ppl want to explore that.

Taxes; not "don't pay your taxes", but do the paperwork, ringfence the amount and put it into a safe place. Then declare that they are *withheld* until State or Federal legislature listens to you grievences. This is not 'insurrection', nor necessarily breaking the law, is it? If thousands upon millions do this, and the IRS all try to 'bring them to justice', it will clog up the courts for years, even if they fast-track everyone, and will fill up jails beyond breaking-point if those numbers are even attempted to be arrested. Just one County or State has to begin it. All it needs then is a steady nerve. Soon enough, the federal government will crack unless they turn Soviet or Chinese-style. By then, though, Trump will be in power and taxes will be be cut and people will be able to pay the ringfenced monies without fear. They may even get rebates! Still, that tax withholdal will never happen... Will it?

Okay, I get that God appoints certain governing leaders and all but…I still don’t like Biden. I might vote Trump…I might vote for Bobby but, Biden needs to retire. $6 for a gallon of gas in California?! C’mon.

I like this pastor but must say I felt disturbed by the second half of this sermon when it came across as partisan. Daniel obeyed and respected the authorities except when it meant denying the Lord. I don’t think his explanation of disobeying the authorities during the pandemic meets that criteria.
