Heart's 'heyday' was during my young party years. And still today, at 55 yo, when their songs come on the radio, I can sing along to the words like it was yesterday. An iconic band that deserves their place in Rock 'n Roll history and Hall of Fame.

I ran into Heart, carrying their gold records at the airport in Chicago. I didn't know who they were, even though I had just bought their album, and I asked one of the guys what was in those funny shaped boxes they were carrying. He told me it was their gold record for Dreamboat Annie. He was so sweet to a clueless fan. Too bad we didn't have selfies back then!

I think maybe Roger's departure was a major reason why that early sound evaporated. There appeared to have been major synergy when Ann, Nancy, and Roger would write together.

Mike Derosier had _nothin_ on Roger! Cheating is a shame, but BOY is he a GEM now! He looks great in this video, and he was a _COOKIN_ guitar player! lt was _his_ playing that gave heart its raw power on the instrument side! When he left the band everything changed! But l was a tween when this band was at there best, and l've seen 'em live. Anne and Nancy were _flippin GREAT!_

Whenever you have a young band such as Heart was in 1978, and there are any romantic relationships involved, that's where the problems begin. Luckily, these two breakups didn't destroy Heart. And I believe it was because of how close Ann & Nancy were for most of their lives & careers'. Sadly though, it has been because of a man (Ann's husband) who is keeping the two sisters from talking now. Nancy has reached out to you Ann, let it go, and get back in touch with her.

It took me years to fully accept women in traditional "men's" roles. In Pollice Academy in 79 we had 3 or 4 girls and about 25 guys. We gave those poor girls so much crap it embarrasses me now. Every rookie had a mustache back then and we would inspect the women's upper lips. Well, those girls may have all been near the top of the class to "prove" themselves. By graduation day I totally respected those girls because they probably worked 10% harder just to prove themselves. Over my 35+ years on the job some of the finest, most professional officers I had the privilege to work with were women.💝

So many of us love Heart. Saddens me to see people point fingers at band members as if to say, 'How dare you change my music?' Band members are human. Human failings and virtues change people. The music follows 'the heart.' Yes, I am partial to Heart's earlier stuff. I'm also partial to the Beatles' earlier stuff. Am I angry they didn't match my hopes for more of the same? That wouldn't be fair of me. And too bad DaVinci didn't have just one more Mona Lisa in him ;) Must've been another woman.

Incredible talent, all around. And, definitely the right ingredients for great music. It's always been a shame that the guys in heart weren't able to maintain the same level as the Wilson sisters. Sure, I loved their intense progressive-classic rock sound, but I've also liked the more pop-oriented stuff later on. The guys had such a solid rock groove about them. They all were definitely rock stars! 70s Heart will always be legendary!

WOW i wonder what that would be like having 30K+ shouting and screaming and loving your songs, wow that would be amazing, because when people are in front of a huge crowd of people it makes them feel high, we all have energy and put 30K+ people in one arena shouting towards the center stage they're going to feel it, actually the sounds at concerts is phenomenal its almost like surreal even though i wasn't the one on stage i could feel just how powerful the energy was, and if they didn't like you it was an awful energy i mean wow they could love you or hate you in a second but to love you was incredible i am very in tune with energy's and the love energy is far more powerful then the hate energy both have qualities about them but the hate energy is a lot more threatening and intimidating which is not something anyone wants to feel, but the love energy is amazing anyone who loves being on stage thats the energy you really try to create, anyways i am only speaking from one of the energy's in the stadium and not from the center where the energy is being directed at but i am glad i am not because i am a shy person very much a stage freight i wouldn't know what to do on stage, but its nice to see them being so happy in Vancouver, Montreal and in Canada in general.

People need to go back and closely examine some of the photo shoots of Ann and Nancy from 1976. I am a huge fan of the early version of Heart. But sadly Nancy is simply not passable as a woman in some of these early photos. Not sure about Ann, but Nancy is most definately a dude. There's been a ton of plastic surgery from that point forward, but the early pictures don't lie. We've all been fooled for decades. Roger likes his boys in makeup and high heels. Also for the doubters, review the 1976 Canadian TV show footage. Nancy makes sure the camera only gets her face from the side view, with her hair hiding it. She never smiles, and it's obvious she is deliberately trying to prevent as much front view camera as possible. And that ad that they were so upset about was planted intentionally for publicity and to help hide the truth. Look at the faces of them in that ad picture. So obvious, its mockery. Most of this back story is total fiction.

Interesting to note...Ann was quite attractive and not at all fat in the 70's. She gotten fat after that for sure...but perhaps the break-up with Michael turned her into a porker. I studied this stuff in college. Low self-esteem or some crap like that.
