It is very heartening to watch these videos and gain new knowledge but I am most impressed with your entrepreneurial enthusiasm, the unwavering belief in your self and always improving as well as your dedication to excellence and customer service. Skills will get you a long way but it takes a special drive to want to own and run a business on top of that and you sir seem to have it all moving in the right direction. After 50+ yrs of running a small business I can see you have the right stuff.....keep it up you will go far.

Hi, I've been following you and adopting your method for quite some time now because I think it's the most valid, but I've noticed, especially in the evening with less light, that the headlights are always slightly foggy with a milky veil, plus just yesterday I worked on an SLK and the two headlights which were already worn differently from the start did not give me the same result, can you help me with some advice?

Not an issue for me ever... with that being said you might want to revisit how to do this by watching a couple more videos because obviously I don't have this is and you do so this MORE than likely means that you're not truly following what I do ...Any little variations will change the out... ANYTHING..

Sup Dawg - I have a major question that's driving me INSANE right now: Why am I seeing "restoration" people sanding and then with the a cloudy headlight - spraying it? vs. those like you - that do the 3m/chem guys plastic polish = clear lens followed by the "cherry on top" Megs spray? I have noticed one problem - NOBODY posts photos of the lights at night. Why? I personally do not mind -in fact- I WANT to polish the plastic so it's clear BEFORE I spray any clear coat. I figure - best foot forward / maximize the likelihood that the light will remain clear for a longer time period in order to drive a positive reputation. So is this really a cost cutting/time cutting issues vs. getting that last 1-5% performance? One thing I cannot stand - You go out and look at the headlights at night - and you see that haze on the lens - that is what we should all aim to minimize. I'm lost on how there's such a variance in methodologies being shown on youtube - but - so far - YOURS by far is the most thorough effort. Thoughts? I know it's a long question - but - this is the hot potato few if any of these restorers asking for $$$ are willing to discuss.

Well you've commented on a lot of things so my mind is all over the place.. a lot of things went after another.. but anyways for fogginess or whatever I have never had no issue like that.. far as the scratches or whatever they're not existed this is what I film my videos very close up to 1 inch away and what others don't.... Not as far as the people who spray the headlight when it's foggy you're under educated and underskilled and have no idea much about headlight restoration... As far as the night time thing going with the lights I've never had an issue with that at all either.... I in turn do this for a living.. 99.99% of the vehicles I work on are during the day.. even though they're at night when you're done it's time to go.. never once had an issue or I complain because if you do this method correctly it's not existent... kzread.info/dash/bejne/p5qr1s6JgMqre7Q.htmlsi=MfveEfpLhUWbuluv

Thanks - Appreciate the response. I will stick to your methodology However for “fun” I may find a car and do sort of a test of skipping the plastic 3m polish stage. My guess is that by doing so 2 things happen: 1) probably doesn’t last as long 2) probably will have more of a hazy look on the plastic lens at night Overall I don’t mind spending 5-10 minutes extra per light - but I am seeing a lot of videos on youtube of guys doing a lot less and seemingly being okay. Personally I would feel bad about not giving each light the best possible attention to quality since we’re dealing with safety and reputation here… Thanks again for all you do!

@07wrxtr1 yeah these guys do less because they can't do more I'm not skilled enough and they're lazy and they're uneducated... Ask yourself to the headlights from the factory get coted when they're foggy...??? They don't if you're wondering... And appearances can be deceiving not everything clear can be sprayed on a headlight..

@user-mj4rb5vy4z if your light is cracked through and through it's virtually useless there's nothing much you can do that won't look horrendous. On the flip side of things for practicing it doesn't really matter...
