I have never messed around with that unit but in most all cases it is not that easy. It will need you to disconnect and then connect back to ground. Like what a relay would do

I have a clarion nz503, I found that if I ground the ebrake wire to a ground the video will play. Is it ok if I leave the ebrake wire permanately grounded?
