"Emotional love" is just love - as love is an emotion by itself, it can't be an oxymoron. "Physical love" is just lust for phsyical pleasure. And whilst it's definitely important to have both. Physical initmacy is only in correlation to "love" and not the casuation, aka, sex for pleasure is not mandatory, whilst for love to be "love" it always needs the emotion of love. Now that we established this, what does this mean in the end? It means, having toys because you can't climax, when you want to and then getting mad at your partner, is just bad communication and lack of consideration for your partner. This disagreement can only stem from not understanding what's important from eachother. To me, the guy probably could say something about toys not being initmate enough, and that it's not that different from masturbation in the end - and including his presense could only be an insult to his time. Sex includes more than one party, and so maybe the guy just thinks his existence isn't being valued there if inclusion of third party tools is necessary there. This thinking particularly isn't his fault nor should he be invalidated for thinking like this, since it's just different philosophies on sex.
